Excellent option for Indian food. Best Indian cuisine by far in the region and worth every penny. Food is too good, presentation is very eye pleasing & tempting, quantity is awesome, ambience is very good and service is great. Very underrated restaurant I would say. I enjoyed mint paneer tikka very much – chef’s kiss for it. Also roti, malai kofta, entrees and even the desserts, I loved rasamalai. Staff are very nice and courteous – definitely tip worthy. They have clean washrooms. Not much waiting time for taking table and food serving as well. I loved even the smallest of details like charging point at the table, cute chandeliers, cool photos on the walls and good quality to go boxes. Totally it has a great vibe and I will highly recommend this place.

We hosted a small surprise birthday party here for a group of 15. The experience was fantastic. Since it was a surprise party we wanted to do basic decor in a very short time. A staff member, Prince, assisted us timely not only with the decoration but also with our food order with great care.
I would say we had a pleasant experience considering it our first time visit. The ambience was great, the service was exceptional, and the food was decent. Their appetizers were a hit – Cut mirchi, Samosa Chaat, and Gobi dish, in particular. We will visit this restaurant again.

An absolute delight for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, which is rare for an Indian restaurant. The whole family had a blast and we definitely ate enough to be rolled out.

The mango lassi is very authentic — tangy and not overly sweet. Not my personal preference since I don’t love tart drinks, but if you’re into a traditional lassi, this one’s for you.

We wanted to check this new restaurant recently opened on concord pike. We have been in all of these restaurants on the restaurant row including the previous restaurant at this location. Overall atmosphere is good. We were seated by a staff and she said someone will come to serve us. The staff are all very nice people but I observed none had proper training on serving in a restaurant. They were so scattered and did not have a proper system. Food was average and not much flavor. They brought appetizers and entree at the same time. Desert two things we wanted from their menu they didn’t have. So we ordered an item they said they have, but few minutes later they said they don’t have that either.
Seating area was clean with good ambiance. Restroom was clean.
Overall we give an average grade.

This is by far the best restaurant in Delaware for Indian cuisine. We have been missing the authentic taste for north indian food in entire DE and PA area and this new restaurant is filling that gap.
We tried a variety of north indian options and they were upto the mark as if we were eating in authentic Amtritsar or Delhi restaurant. Biryani had a real taste of Hyderabad. Truly amazing experience and prices are pretty decent too.

Afternoon Visit to SANGAM – Fine Indian Cuisine in Wilmington

This afternoon, our group of six visited SANGAM, a fine Indian cuisine restaurant in Wilmington. We were warmly welcomed by Shreya, the receptionist, whose friendly demeanor immediately made us feel at home. A large, impressive Lord Ganesh artwork in the waiting area set a spiritual and artistic tone right from the start.

The restaurant layout is thoughtfully designed: the bar is located to the right of the main entrance, while the spacious dining area extends to the left, offering ample seating. Despite the rainy weather, we were excited to try this new place, having made a reservation for lunch.

The ambiance was calm and inviting, with clean floors and a fresh, modern look that suggested the restaurant was relatively new. Shreya took the time to explain the menu options thoroughly, including the variety of thalis available. When our food arrived, it was served promptly by Rakesh in traditional Indian steel platters. His service was excellent—everything we ordered was correct, and the spice levels were perfectly balanced.

We were particularly impressed by the taste and presentation of the large Dosa and the Chili Gobi, both of which stood out for their flavor and authenticity.

The decor of the restaurant was another highlight. Every wall was adorned with Indian art, ranging from elegant South Indian classical dance scenes to depictions of festivals, cultural events, temples, modern art work and contemporary Indian photography—all beautifully curated and professionally displayed.

Service was not only quick and efficient, but also well-timed. The pricing was reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall experience.

In summary, we were highly impressed with SANGAM and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It’s a great addition to Wilmington’s dining scene, and we’ll definitely be returning.

Been meaning to leave this review now for a couple weeks. I don’t even remember what we got besides tikka masala, but everything was absolutely incredible. Great portion sizes, polite and accommodating servers, and a good atmosphere made the experience worthwhile. It was my first time having Indian food and it was astounding.

Definitely recommend Sangam!

We had a great experience overall, with friendly and attentive staff and a pleasant ambience. We tried the non-veg thali, which came with a generous variety of curries and accompaniments. The thali is the key USP here, as it’s something you don’t find at many other Indian restaurants, and it was very satisfying.

We also ordered the Hyderabadi chicken biryani, which tasted exactly as it should—nothing to complain about and similar in taste to what you’d find at most good Indian restaurants.

The highlight of our meal was the appetizer, “Nala Karam Chicken.” It was absolutely amazing with a unique flavor profile that we hadn’t tried before—we loved it.

One area for improvement would be the roti served with the thali, which wasn’t as good as the rest of the dishes and could be improved.

Overall, it was a great dining experience with very generous portions, and we even had plenty of leftovers for our next meal. Would definitely recommend!
