This past Saturday after traveling to visit family in the UP, we stopped into the Sanford Lake Bar and Grill for a bite to eat. The food wait times were a bit long, but our server, Madison, was the absolute the sweetest! She was friendly, attentive, and so welcoming, from the moment we sat down, and all the way through our departure. She checked in often and made sure everything was just right.
She remained professional and personable and handled everything effortlessly, even when the food was taking longer than expected. Her service truly elevated our entire meal and made the experience feel special. The food was yummy too!
I don’t usually give reviews but knew I could not leave Madison’s great job unnoticed! We’ll absolutely be back and will definitely be hoping to sit in Madison’s section again. Highly recommend!

We came on a Friday night and only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was fast and efficient, always making sure we had drinks or anything else we might need. We had mini corn dogs and chips & salsa for appetizers. For our main meal, we had the Cod bites, cheeseburger, avocado burger, and mushroom & swiss burger. Everything was so tasty, and the burgers were giant! Overall, it was a great meal at a reasonable price.

1st time there, good fish fry. Perch, cod & blue gill. I tried all 3 & they all were good. Also, has a nice salad bar. Salad bar was also good. Wait staff was very friendly & food came out hot & fast. Lobster bisque was very good!

Inexpensive drinks and excellent food! I really like their pizza – I had a pepperoni and sausage on their signature sweet crust and it was delicious. I have not tried anything else yet, but everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic!

We came in and the owner asked us how we were doing and we asked if he would recommend anything and he told us about these south west egg rolls! UMMMM DELICIOUS!!!!!! He said his wife makes them and homemade salsa! I WILL be going to get them again very soon! Everyone is friendly and the food and drinks are absolutely WORTH it! Highly recommend going here anytime!!!!!
