This is a really fun place. First time here and had a wonderful German brat sandwich with mustard and sauerkraut. It was delicious with great flavor! Good beer selection as well. Indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is very friendly and informative about menu and their operation. They also sell beef and pork that the break down in-house. Will definitely be going back.

It has some hole in the wall vibes, tucked just behind main street. You avoid the tourist crowd and can even pick up some local meat for your next meal at home. It beat out Furmans Burger Bar for flavor with comparable pricing.

I grabbed a burger to-go for my not easy to please, all food has room for improvement food critique, burger-snob husband. He LOVED it so much I thought he might eat the take-out container just to get every last bit of delicious flavors from the burger. He said he’ll definitely go back. Great, prompt service, friendly staff. Highly recommend.

We live out of town and make it to Waynesville every 6-8 weeks. This is our new go-to lunch place when we are in Waynesville, and we’ve been about 10 times. It’s certainly off the beaten path and you really have to know it is there, but it is a gem of a find. From the outside it’s a very nondescript building. We’ve had a different sandwich each time and it is always fresh and outstanding. This last visit we bought 6 brats to bring home. They have no preservatives and are made in house with meat from a local farm. It’s the best brat I have ever had. Be sure to buy a jar of “Lusty Monk Mustard” which they sell. Highly recommend GMC.

I was looking for a new place to eat in Waynesville and stumbled upon this wonderful place. Had a kielbasa sandwich and potato wedges. Both were so good. They have this house sauce that just seems to go with both things so well. I will definitely be coming back!

Went with some friends for the first time recently and was very impressed! Can’t speak on the actual meat quality or prices, only can speak on the burgers, and my burger was incredible! Make sure to get the G smash when visiting!

Was craving a great burger and found this ‘hole in the wall’ gem. I got the G-Smash and oh my goodness- have you ever wondered what a fresh Big Mac with real meat would taste like? This is it! Looking forward to my next visit to try the Cuban Service and atmosphere was great, food came out fast but hot and and fresh. Definitely worth a try, you might fall in love like I did

Quality in-house prepared meats and great service are what makes this restaurant stand out. The Cuban sandwich had thick sliced ham and tender roasted pork with a delicious sauce. The roast beef sandwich has tender beef and reminded me of the best NY deli sandwiches. The sides were tasty. We tried their in-house craft beer as well, and it was very good.

I have to say that this is one of our new favorite places in Waynesville, NC. The service is great, and the food is phenomenal. I highly recommend the Cuban Sandwich and grab some of their cased sausages for the grill at home.
