Saneh Bangkok is a fantastic Thai restaurant with great food and a really welcoming atmosphere.

The grilled pork skewers were excellent, very flavorful and nicely grilled. The Pad Thai was outstanding. We finished one plate and my son immediately asked for another, which says a lot. The crispy chicken is a must try as well, full of flavor and well cooked. We also tried their signature dish and it did not disappoint.

The Thai coffee was rich, sweet, and intense, definitely on the stronger side but very enjoyable if you like bold flavors.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant has a warm, cozy vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy the meal.

We’ll definitely be coming back.

Excellent service. Fair prices and huge portions. The food was delicious, probably my favorite Thai food I’ve had in the Bay Area.

My husband and I had a great dinner here! Everything was prepared quickly and all food was delicious. It was our first time eating Thai food and we had an amazing meal. Waitress was very friendly and helped us choose some great options. Definitely recommend!

Excellent Thai food and quite authentic flavors! We ordered the Red Curry with rice and the Pad See yu. Both were very tasty. The best part of the curry was that it was not sweet. Other restaurants nowadays add sugar in the thai curries that kills the real flavors.

We also got the pineapple based drink and was nicely prepared and presented. Generally reasonably priced for the area.

Service was good and courteous. Ambience is modern and with very neutral colors. Feels upscale. Seems to be done by a professional designer.

We will certainly be back for more!

If you’re tired of watered-down flavors made to please American palates and want the authentic flavors of Thailand, come to Saneh Bangkok in Pleasant Hill. Both myself and my dining companion, who is Thai, were referred here by another Thai restaurant when we asked where we could find real Thai flavors, and Saneh did not disappoint. There are some hard-to-find dishes here too, like crab omelette and fried rice with fish sauce. Everything we had was delicious and they have Singha beer on tap. (Hint: it’s actually pronounced “sing”)

Saneh means “charming” and this restaurant is certainly that. The decor pays homage to old Bangkok with record albums, photographs, and Pan Am ads from days gone by. The service was warm and friendly, and we felt like friends rather than customers on our first visit. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and try the food here – it’s the closest you’ll get to eating in Thailand without leaving the Bay Area.

อร่อยมากกกครับผม

This place is just up the street from us and I’m glad we have another neighborhood Thai place to go to.

They were very accommodating of our baby and seated us in a spot that allowed for our stroller.

The decor and food were very good, there was more then the usual options of pad Thai and tom yum which was really nice. We’ll definitely be going back!

I’ve been three times now and every dish I’ve had there is amazing. They serve Thai dishes that are not normally found in other restaurants, so the experience is unique. Also they have delicious wine cocktails.

Solid five stars!
We ordered take out and all three dishes were fantastic. Great taste, quality ingredients (I am super overly picky about meats) and nice portion sizes all for a respectable price. We ordered the Gra Pow Gai Kai Dao, Pad Pak Ruam and Green Curry.
Saneh Bangkok is a hidden little gem! We will for sure eat here again.

Saneh Bangkok in Pleasant Hills has quickly become my absolute favorite Thai restaurant, and it’s easy to see why. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is inviting and vibrant. The staff were nothing short of phenomenal, providing attentive and friendly service that made the dining experience truly exceptional.

The cocktails were expertly crafted and perfectly complemented the meal. Each drink was a delightful blend of flavors, showcasing the same attention to detail that went into the food.

Speaking of the food, it was simply amazing. The specialty menu, in particular, stood out with its innovative dishes that still retained the authentic taste of Thailand. Every bite was a burst of flavor, meticulously prepared and beautifully presented.

Saneh Bangkok is a gem in Pleasant Hills, and I can confidently say it will be my go-to spot for Thai cuisine from now on. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great food, excellent drinks, and top-notch service.
