First time here service was good considering the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes. Staff very super friendly and very nice. The tavern is modern and very clean and well maintained. The only downside was the BLT as it was a bit dry and only had two small pieces of Bacon. I would have liked more bacon for the price.

Ordered lunch probably should have got breakfast, steak was disappointing hard to cut and kept knocking salad and chips off my plate. Wasn’t a big fan of the amount of gravy poured on top like hiding something, definitely prefer it to the side. Chips yum, salad that wasn’t covered in gravy yum and coffee was pretty good.

We’ve been here three times now, and every visit has been outstanding! The food is always amazing and beautifully presented, and the service is fantastic. Deanne is a terrific organiser and host — professional, welcoming, and always on the ball. All the staff are friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy, which makes every visit such a pleasure. Highly recommended!

I requested cut chilles on side, and they customized the pasta with chillie just for me! Loved it!

This is a lovely pub with really good traditional pub food, friendly staff and a nice warm fire in winter. I don’t get why it doesn’t have higher ratings.
We usually ask to share a meal and then supplement it with a side of veggies because neither of us can finish a huge pub meal. They didn’t have a side of veggies on the menu but they added a plate of veggies to our order without batting an eyelid. The schnitzel was delicious and was a proper piece of chicken, not the ‘reconstituted’ stuff. The veggies were also delicious. Prices were reasonable, I thought. $54 for a schnitzel meal, additional plate of veggies, a glass of wine and a G&T. Serves were generous. You see the serves in the photo before we divided them. We were not able to finish it all. (The salad was left).

Came here on the good reviews. We were all very disappointed in our meals. My flathead tasted like frozen stuff you get from Coles, my husbands double beef burger the patties looked & tasted like processed meat & our friends pork chop at $36 was very average.

Food portions were generous and the quality was good. Drink prices were reasonable. I ordered a cocktail which was overly sweet and not enjoyable. Staff were friendly and efficient. Despite having made an online booking, they apparently had no record of it but were able to accommodate us anyway.

Good price for great food! Beers on tap are on point! And although the outside looks dark and unwelcoming the inside is light vibrant and extremely worth the visit! 10/10 would recommend.
