Their Chili Chips were the main reason I came, but then I saw so much more and bought so much more!! I bought papaya salad, spicy (tasted great); KhaoPoon for my son, (also tasted great); Lao Sausage w/ sticky rice (rice was nicely textured and not dry, sausage surprisingly had clear noodles and tasted/smelled great); banh mi (freshly prepared in front of me) ; curry catfish (still havent tried but will today). Place is small but nicely decorated and it’s their staff/maybe owner(s) very friendly

We enjoyed the papaya. Their brand sausage is my favorite, but the didnt have the bean thread version at that time. Other brands have chunkier pig skin and fat which i dont like.

Food was quite good for a quick bite! Portion size was pretty generous for the price in my opinion. When I came here it took a little bit for the Fried Rice and Khao Piak however you can tell it was made very fresh! Definitely recommend everyone to stop by and try this out! Looking forward to trying their Pad Ka Pao & Larb next!

This is an honest review, and I hope the constructive criticism is not taken out of context. I really wanted to like this place and make it my new go-to spot for lunch. Since it opened, I’ve been there three times and have tried both the chicken and rice, as well as the sausage and rice, on each visit.
On my first visit, the chicken was decent, and the portion size was fair, with 4 pieces. However, during my last two visits, the portions were slightly smaller, with only 3 pieces of chicken, and the pieces were much smaller. The texture of the chicken was drier, possibly due to overcooking or cutting into the pieces. One of my pet peeves with chicken is finding feathers still attached after frying, and unfortunately, on all three visits, the chicken drumsticks still had noticeable feathers.
The flavor is decent, but when considering the competition nearby, in my opinion, it’s not as good as other places. The sausage rice appeared overcooked all three times. It was darker and looked overdone. The taste was okay, though I suspect the overcooking might have affected it as well.
I understand this place is still new, and I hope they take these reviews into consideration. However, for now, I’ll have to go out of my way to my favorite chicken and rice spot, LA Kitchen.

Food was amazing!
We got sausage and sticky rice, pad Thai, papaya salad, chicken noodle soup, spring rolls, and egg rolls.
Portion sizes were bigger than the other Thai/Lao restaurants we went to.
Sausages is home made!! Tasted fresh and flavorful.
Owner (I believe) was very welcoming, he explained every item to us and what ingredients they have in them.
We definitely will be back! We found our new favorite Thai/Lao restaurant!

Small little Laos food place also connected to the gas station next door. They have hot and ready foods. I tried the fried chicken and rice. It came with 1 drum and 2 thighs, both still juicy and not overcooked. Skin was fried perfectly and flavorful. The rice portion was very generous, and I couldn’t finish it. The dipping sauce was good, but i would prefer it to be more spicy. I also tried their baked eggs, flavor was good, and the dipping sauce was perfect.
Thai tea was good but a too much creamer for my liking.
I’m gonna go back and try more items on the menu. Nice people! I definitely recommend it!

I’ve been coming to Sandy’s since they opened, and I absolutely love it! I live just down the street, so it’s always a convenient go-to when I feel like eating out. The papaya salad is a favorite (of course!), but what really sets this place apart is the owner — they’re incredibly kind and even took the time to walk me through other dishes I should try. I love the family vibe here — it’s not just in the food, but in how they treat their customers. You feel it the moment you walk in.
