Sandrini’s Public House opened in 2005 and has since been a privately owned and operated bar and restaurant in the heart of downtown Bakersfield. Our mission is that everyone who walks through our door will feel they have found a space where they belong. From our amazing team to our fresh made food prepared in house, our thoughtfully crafted cocktails and extensive whiskey selection to our entertaining nightlife we offer a place where our guests can gather for an enjoyable evening.

Kitchen closes at 12:30 and the food is pretty on point. Bathrooms are clean friendly and functional. Atmosphere is comfortable, pub like. A usual haunt if you don’t want pizza for dinner when you’re out late.

This place could have been good if it wasn’t for the service. FYI, none of the photos posted are from what they serve. We were given 5 options: wings $14, burger $14, but you have to add fries that are $8, so $22 and Flatbread $14. We tried ordering drinks (even water) but the waiter told us that’s not his job. Nobody came to offer us drinks. We were pretty much told to choke on our food. We will NEVER come here again!

It’s okay. The Chicken Tikka Masala tastes like American chili. The bourbon BBQ back burger was good along with the garlic parmesan fries it came with. Edit: Just post your Tiki Masala recipe here so we can review it and offer some suggestions.

Underground bar and restaurant. It has a chill vibe and good service. You can sit in a booth, at the bar, on couches and eat or drink. The pool cost $1 (4 quarters) per game.

Great spot with a fun and chill atmosphere. The bartenders were nice and did their best to serve customers as quick as possible. My only problem was is that the drinks prices are very steep compared to other bars and places I’ve been. Close to 20 bucks for 2 single shots of Jameson kinda hurt the pocket more than intended

Great spot for some post work drinks or just having a chill vibe. I personally really enjoyed that it is down in a basement. Nothing fancy on the drinks, but that is fine for this dive bar. Felt pretty safe. Parking is usually not an issue. Bartenders are friendly. Not overtly crowded. I would definitely recommend.
