Sandrini’s Public House opened in 2005 and has since been a privately owned and operated bar and restaurant in the heart of downtown Bakersfield. Our mission is that everyone who walks through our door will feel they have found a space where they belong. This was a neat recommendation from some local folks. We went after a show at the Fox theater and it was busy but not crammed or loud. They have local beer on tap and plenty of seats and table games. Check it out!

i totally agree with the bartender with the gen z stare. he’ll wait one or two seconds for the order, if you aren’t saying anything he’ll leave and make you wait another 5-6 mins. I went on halloween and I understand about how busy it is but that’s not an excuse for the security in the front to let people cut and have two lines going without saying anything about the other line. Totally unprofessional!

Kitchen closes at 12:30 and the food is pretty on point. Bathrooms are clean friendly and functional. Atmosphere is comfortable, pub like. A usual haunt if you don’t want pizza for dinner when you’re out late.

I can’t say enough good things about Sandrinis. Between the atmosphere being the right kind of chill and engaging, great food, regular events, and a nice scotch menu this location hits nearly all my kickback bar needs. Smoking room in the back if you’re so inclined.

It’s okay. The Chicken Tikka Masala tastes like American chili. The bourbon BBQ back burger was good along with the garlic parmesan fries it came with. Edit: Just post your Tiki Masala recipe here so we can review it and offer some suggestions.

Underground bar and restaurant. It has a chill vibe and good service. You can sit in a booth, at the bar, on couches and eat or drink. The pool cost $1 (4 quarters) per game.

Always the best bar in town. Great selection of beer and drinks, they serve late night food, the crowd is always so fun, they often have music and other events, there is a smoking room too if you dont want to go back outside. Highly recommend.

You walk directly down a flight of stairs into a bar. To the right is a pool table, leather chairs and a bar. The left side is more of a restaurant. If you walk through another door and all the way down a hallway there’s a whole cigar lounge you can smoke inside at. Happy hour was great, drinks were easy, bartender was nice. What more could you ask for?! Great time
