Five of us came on a recommendation from a family member. We actually liked it so much that we came for breakfast two days in a row. It’s a step above your average greasy spoon. The service was excellent. We had the same server both days, and all the owner people we interacted with were also great.

My husband chose this restaurant because he knows that brunch is my favorite meal. We were promptly greeted. Everyone was warm and welcoming. Pearl was wonderful! It was nice to see how well the staff interacted with one another. If someone had a pot of coffee, they stopped by all of the tables to see if anyone needed a refill.

Went here for breakfast with my wife. She ordered the cheese crepes with strawberries. I had the ultimate scramble with pancakes. We both enjoyed the food. It was filling at a great price. The atmosphere was comfortable and not sitting on top of each other crowded even though they were full.

My girlfriend and I had breakfast/brunch at the Sandfiddler Cafe on July 30. The owner, Jeff Cohen greeted us and explained due to short staff in the kitchen, they had a limited menu. Our waitress was very nice and helped us with any accommodation we asked of her. While we patiently waited for our food, we were enamored by how this restaurant was decorated and how homey the atmosphere felt. We also noticed Mr. Cohen went by every table to ask how people were doing, if they liked their food and making small conversations to everyone seated in the restaurant except my girlfriend and I. Even after we received our food, Mr. Cohen made various table touches to everyone again except us. After we paid and got up to leave, Mr. Cohen finally said, “Have a great day” to us. The blatant show of the owner clearly ignoring our table and watching him talk to everyone but us the whole time we sat down, left us dumbfounded on what my girlfriend and I could have possibly done that even the owner didn’t care to give us the time of day he had for everyone else in the restaurant. This also left a sour feeling in our minds that we were being left out and watched helplessly while everyone had multiple table touches from Mr. Cohen throughout our time in the restaurant. Our waitress gave us great service and the food was hot and savory. My girlfriend and I would not come back again since we are clearly not welcomed by Mr. Cohen.

Such a cute spot in East Beach right near the water. This is a small family owned business where they take great care of their customers. Everyone is so friendly. Sundays are the best days for brunch so it was pretty crowded but we only waited about 7 minutes.

Meal sucked. First off I ordered shredded hash browns and they gave some cold, soggy, bland cubed potatoes. My bacon was soft like it was microwaved and my sausage was dry or overcooked. I’ve had better food at a hotel. This is the second time I’ve had a bad experience here. I will not be returning.

So apparently 14:30 seconds on hold to place an order is ok. We have been regulars here for quite some time and to be told by the new owners son that he doesn’t even recognize the phone number that I was still on hold with after I arrived at the restraunt. Then to be told there is no one in charge, and when I told him they just lost a regular customer he says” have a good day”. Absolutely lame. Totally disappointed in the new management. Wish Jeff hadn’t sold out.

My husband and I had breakfast on a Saturday morning and it was less than we hoped for. Both servings of hash brown were soft and tasteless. The whole meal lacked flavor over all.We only saw the waitress twice taking the order and when she brought the check. We have been there before and it was much busier so not seeing the waitress wasnt because they were busy. Unfortunately we probably wont go back anytime soon. Lack of flavor and the price we paid for that will prevent our return.
