We have been to most of the top recommended restaurants in Anguilla and we would put Sandbar near or at the top of the list! The food was some of the best we’ve experienced on the island. It is tapas, so please don’t be one of those people who complains about small portions in their review. We had grilled asparagus, wedge salad, tuna poke, sautéed shrimp, and chicken satay. Outstanding and more than enough for two people. And the Johnny Cake Sundae was amazing. Sandbar should be considered one of the best in Anguilla! Reservations recommended.

Lovely restaurant with overall high quality food, Do check out the music schedule if you like quiet dining. it’s a smallish restaurant and the singer on electric guitar the night we were there was a definite presence. The music quality was good and most people seemed to enjoy it. It was just a bit loud for us.

Came here for our first dinner on the island after a long travel day. Were greeted by Kyrleson immediately with such open arms. He makes incredible cocktails! We saw him around the island later on our trip and he remembered us and showed us around to some places he frequents. The food was delicious and fresh and exactly what we were looking for on our first night out. Our server was also lovely and there was live music to enjoy. 10/10 vibes.

Went with a group of six. Based on the reviews we were so excited. We arrived right on time for our reservation, but weren’t able to be seated until 45 minutes afterwards. So we sat at the bar to get drinks, but weren’t able to get drinks – completely ignored. Once we were seated, our waiter couldn’t care less about us. I have never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant- so much so that I am writing a Google maps review. Our dinner lasted 2.5 hours. Our waiter came to our table TWICE the entire time. Other times we had to flag her down – and we could tell she wasnt happy about it. The food and ambiance was great. Everything else was awful. We would have spent over 1k, but weren’t even able to due to the awful service. DO NOT GO HERE. Worst part of our trip. 2/5 stars

This is a beautiful spot…was there earlier this year but I haven’t heard anything about if it’s still functioning after the hurricanes.
Update: I visited again in 2019 and had a great night out with my wife. The food was good and there was live music that made for a great experience. The service was great as well.

An amazing tapas bar, the drinks are EXCELLENT and the happy hour makes them the best deal on the island. They don’t really have big dishes but you can all split a bunch of small plates.
