We were in town for a hike and wanted to get dinner. Walked into the restaurant and was immediately greeted. The vibes are good inside the restaurant. The menu is relatively large. They also have specials written in front of the counter. I ended up getting the huarache. I thought it was flavorful and the texture was crunchy. They also make the spices in house. The desserts selection is also good.

Incredible homemade guac, warm chips, and the best al pastor tacos I’ve had in a long time. Juicy (not dried out like a lot of them out there) and on homemade masa tortillas.
The mild salsa was okay. The green salsa was good. And not too spicy.
The family that runs it are very sweet and kind.
They have a little outdoor eating area in the back.
I wish I lived closer. This would be my go-to takeout spot.

This place is the real deal! A place that you’ll have to visit more than twice! The owner and his family’s so warm and friendly. You can tell the food was prepared with love. We had the Nachos and Cuban. They also sell their homemade HotSauce. I highly recommend this place. So, if you’re craving Mexican while in Cornwall, Cielito is a must-have!

Such a cozy dining room. Excellent food. Me: chicken en salsa de chipotle. Him: chicken enchiladas with green sauce . Update: dined in, luckily a table was available. Me: tacos al pastor with rice and beans. Others: chimichanga de vegetal, guacamole. Love loved the tacos and complimentary chips and salsa! Next time want to try the Huarache and sopes.

There are two Mexican restaurants in the Cornwalls. This one Cielito Lindo and Las Margaritas. Each has its strong points. Las Margaritas is a bigger place with a bar to sit at and a dining room. Lindo is much smaller and less formal. Margaritas serves alcohol, Lindo does not. But, Cielito Lindo has fresher and more tasteful food!!!

PLEASE make sure you check your bill. If you’re not from around there, they will rip you off. I definitely agree with the other negative reviews. Chips and salsa was given to us without asking and they charged us $6.50. Then when we got the bill and an extra $3.50 was added on for no reason. We were tired from our hike and just wanted to go home so we paid it and tipped an extra $20 in cash. I go home and check my bank statement and my card was overcharged by $10+. Definitely upset and I won’t be back. I highly recommend you pay cash if you decide to try this place.

WARNING Food is extremely spicy.
I ordered the enchiladas poblanas mole and chilaquilea Verdes. Boy was it all super spicy.
Even for me that I’m Mexican and grew up eating Mexican food with spice.
I called the and told them the situation and the man simply said yeah all our sauces are spicy. Didn’t off to make anything right. The thing is there is no warning.
I Will never eat here again and you shouldn’t either. My mouth is on fire!

MEXICAN FOOD! The food was delicious. I enjoyed their guacamole. The customer service was exceptional. We had 5 children all under the age of 5 years old and they were quick to deliver and adaptable. I heard they give military discount too. The only thing I would request would be chairs or high chairs for babies under 3 years old.
