Delicious scratch kitchen with a breathtaking view of the pier & ocean! The wait staff was excellent – Russell even noticed I added ice to my pinot grigio & when he brought my 2nd glass, HE added ice – great job paying attention to the small details! We are definetely coming back next time we’re in town! BTW, they have really good wine too!

Amazing! Service was excellent. The restaurant tables were full so we opted for bar service. Church was amazing. Perfect recommendations, was going to stick with a sprite but upselled me into an amazing Moscow mule. The margarita flatbread along with the amazing Brussels sprouts! Service was EXCEPTIONAL! Have had poor luck with service lately, not one issue . Prompt and personable. We came back multiple times (trip 3 in a few days)

Came here the first time stopping through town for dinner. Second time was coming to Ajax for Mayo Clinic and had to come back! First time was dinner atmosphere and we sat outside and listened to the ocean with great ambiance. The second visit was for lunch and we sat inside with great atmosphere and friendly employees. Waitress was great, I wish I was better with names. The mahi mahi sandwich is amazing but I must say, the flatbread with chicken and avocado on it was what brought us back! Best flatbread ever!

We were on our way out of Jacksonville and decided to kill some time at the Sandbar. The weather was also amazing given it rained all weekend and it was the only day we had while visiting the Jax area. It was a great experience overlooking the beach and the people walking by on the boardwalk (stonewall since it’s all pavers). The ambiance at the restaurant was welcoming and the staff somewhat friendly. We had a couple beers and cocktail and they were as expected. We ordered some chicken wings since we had a late breakfast right before our visit here. That took a while to come out and I had to check on it twice. However, they were with the wait and delicious tasting. The service overall was poor in my opinion and can use improvement. The bar has a great location and great views of the beach. It was worth the visit and I would visit again when in Jax

We were really happy with the on premise restaurant Sandbar. The manager Chase was incredibly responsive, remembering and acknowledging returning customers, and making sure service was on point. The two bartenders the last night we were there, Vinny and Jesus were friendly and incredibly efficient at getting a very crowded bar and dinner service attended.
We will be back. Very pleasantly surprised on all fronts.

I love this restaurant! The best ambiance, service and of course, food! Although there isn’t a typical protocol for birthdays, Matthew and Haley hooked my mom up for her birthday and really made it a special outing. The brussel sprouts and flat breads were the best! Highly recommend!

The food and the atmosphere were topnotch! The service, however, was not equally as satisfying. Our waitress had very little interest in engaging and decided, for instance, to refill the water as we were paying the check. She also grabbed her tip as we were still sitting there. Extremely tacky

Had a really great time here staying at the hotel on a work trip last week and luckily enough this place was great. The food is surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant and the bartenders were very attentive and friendly. Great place and hope to get to visit again in the future!

Both Haley & Matt are great!! Yummy food per usual. I recommend the Caribbean flatbread. The restaurant at this hotel is definitely a factor when deciding where to stay for the night. Thanks for taking great care of us.
