Small, neat, family owned diner. I ate the lunch and loved it. The shrimp poboy was crunchy, and good. The size is not too big, rather a decent one. I replaced the side fries with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were comforting and wholesome. I ordered the corn bread with it as an additional side. The buttermilk cornbread was the best, baked to the perfection. My friend ate the liver and onion and he said that he liked it as well. My another friend ate the blackened catfish served with dirty rice and fries. The fries were very mediocre, made from the frozen, and he didn’t like it. Overall the food was mostly fresh, and pretty decent. I will go back again.

Visited them many times after, they are consistent with the quality and service.

The food was Mama’s down south cooking chicken and dumplings. It was very good. The service was a little slow for the initial service but after that was fantastic. If your looking for down home cooking this is the place to go.

Great food, service and atmosphere. A little dark, would prefer better lighting options. Overall great place to grab lunch

When my wife and I travel, we like to hit up local owned businesses. We found this on a restaurant list and stopped in. The employees offered great hospitality, kept drinks topped, checked on us, and even held conversations as if we were daily locals. Food was great and cooked perfectly. Only issue was it was bland inside; no music, not much decoration, and just basic. It was very clean and well kept. But nothing that would ruin my recommendation! Loved the place.

If I could give zero stars I would. I got the special of the day. The price was not posted anywhere. It was 14.50 plus 3.25 or so for the one drink. When I asked if I could change the sides the. Rude man serving us said NO. The special was a frozen chicken fried steak out of a box ,with instant mashed potatoes and gravy and beans and cabbage. The food tasted awful and when I was done, they asked if I wanted dessert so I wanted something that tasted maybe somewhat good so I got a slice of chocolate pie. The total of my bill was 25.06. that is outrageous. I took my ticket up to the register and paid exactly 25.06, I left the tip of $2 on the table just out of respect ,but the old man had the audacity to ask me if I left him a tip!!!!! never go to this place it is the worst in Arkansas!!!!

When you enter the establishment it reeks of the smell of grease. Waited at least 5 minutes before our drink orders were taken there were only 2 other occupied tables at the time. I have food allergies and have to be careful what I order. I attempted to order a side of an entree
with the soup I ordered and was told I could not order it that way. So I ordered the sandwich version of the entree and asked them not put it on the bread. The server went up and was talking loudly to the man behind the counter whom I assume was the owner discussing my order loudly where it could be heard by everyone in the building. The man then loudly announced I would have to have the sandwich as they would not serve the chicken salad with out it. He loudly said I was trying to circumvent our way of doing things. I told him no I am allergic to the bread and can’t have it. However, my table mate ordered a burger without the bun and it was not an issue. Discrimination?

Food is mediocre at best. Food is way way overpriced. The special is around $16 with a water. The owner is an old man that’s extremely rude. Diner beware! My bill was $33 for two of us. I left a $4 tip which is 12%. The old man said “wow big tipper”. I left before I could lose my temper. I’ll never go back

We give it 5 stars. Our waitress was good. Our food order arrived fairly quickly. Prices were average for a small town “mom and pop” diner. Coffee was excellent. Restaurant and restrooms were extremely clean. And the grilled vegetable medley is delicious. This place is worth driving a few miles off the highway.

My mom and I eat here for a quick bite just about every week. The couple that runs the place is very attentive. The catfish etouffee is really good. We usually get whatever the special is. Beans are amazing. We are glad there is a nice sit down restaurant in Osceola with home cooked food!
