The Sand Bar is locally owned and operated and has been for more than 60 years. What started as a one sandwich, beer, and a shot joint has become known as the Dells’ go-to place for food, fun and friends! We pride ourselves on offering quality service, food and drinks with a fun attitude. Don’t hesitate go to The Sand Bar! It was great! Our bartender Julie was so cool, super kind, great personality We really enjoyed chatting with her! The food was was delicious! Fish Fry was better than most spots in Milwaukee (where we’re from) Anyway Go! Just go and hopefully Julie is there when you do! We also had the wings and chili cheese fries, both also tasted great!

Kids menu for $6? Yes please. Fries were delicious, particularly the chili cheese fries. Mango cart on draft for the Californians that know Golden Road. Bummer that the smoked wings weren’t available today.

We were looking for a great burger place and this place came recommended. The burger was like a fast food patty on a bun. The fries were hot and crispy and we liked them. The server was friendly and attentive. If they want a higher rating from us they need to have a thicker, juicer, better burger. I was surprised at the reviews because I have had much better burgers from bar/pub restaurants. Another Wisconsin Dells restaurant disappointment. The manager/owner seemed to be very attentive and had a good personality, but the reason we went was for a good meal.

Wow!! I don’t even know where to start, EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING was amazing! The bartender/cook was nothing but perfection. We had the nico burger and the tanned Italian sandwich with mini tacos to start and a side salad. I cannot wait to go back!

Not on the main drag but more than worth the two block walk! Other kitchens were closing early, walked to the Sand Bar and they were AMAZING!! Great staff, best burger we have had in a spell, and very chill atmosphere. This will be a date night stop every time.

Out of town and we were looking for a place and we were thinking appetizers. Our hotel had a map with coupons and we liked the choices at Sand Bar. It was really good. We got cheese curds and I think the ranch was house made because it wasn’t Hidden Valley, it was super good. Then we got chicken tenders with fries, teriyaki boneless wings and Italian beef with onion rings. Everything was delicious. My daughter said the teriyaki wings were the best she ever had. The Italian Beef was really flavorful and the onion rings very good and my daughter’s friend really liked the tenders and we all really enjoyed the fries.
