I recently visited the Sand Bar at 130 Washington Ave, in Wisconsin Dells, WI. It was a quiet day when I got there shortly after opening. The bar/restaurant is very clean and has a nice bar where I ended up sitting watching TV and talking to another nice guy, named Greg. I was served tiny and we had a nice discussion on beer. I inquired to what I should order and the choice was a delicious steak sandwich. Very tasty.

Don’t hesitate go to The Sand Bar! It was great! Our bartender Julie was so cool, super kind, great personality We really enjoyed chatting with her! The food was was delicious! Fish Fry was better than most spots in Milwaukee (where we’re from) Anyway Go! Just go and hopefully Julie is there when you do! We also had the wings and chili cheese fries, both also tasted great!

Staff would attend bar guest more than restaurant guest.
Our understanding was that onion rings were $2 extra charge, but i guess fries it is too.
Cheese was stone cold and not even melted. Mini tacos were as if frozen boxes from the store. Nothing had any seasoning, place is more of a bar than a eat in place.

It’s a good day
The fish had a great crunch and moist inside. I ordered the small potatoes and wish I hadn’t. They taste like they didn’t wash them. If you would toss them in butter and Parmesan they would be good. I would recommend this place minus the baby potatoes. The service was a 10 out of 10.
