The Sandbar is hands-down my favorite place to cut loose on Marco Island. There is always something fun happening — a great live band, karaoke night, or a DJ — and the energy is contagious. The crowd is welcoming, lively, and just there to have a good time, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the night.
The food is also consistently great. I don’t even have photos to share because we tend to dive right in, but every meal I’ve had there has been solid and satisfying.
If you’re looking for a go-to spot with fun people, great music, and a laid-back island vibe, this is it. Definitely one of my regular stops whenever I’m on Marco Island.

I had the jalapeño crusted grouper and wow it was delicious! The others had Chicken special, shrimp tacos, and sand piper burger and it was really good!! Super busy place; seems like a locals go to! Service was great especially as busy as they were!

It’s a dive bar, but a great one. Kathleen our server was great and the beer was cold and excellent. The peel and shrimp was the best I have had in a long time. we did not have the grouper sandwich but I hear it’s great!

Menu states smoked fish dip comes with crackers and vegetables. While true, came with saltines and celery- expected some variety and more than one type of vegetable. Flavor of dip was good. Grouper sandwich (ordered grilled) was ok, but a bit bland. Didn’t come with tomato as menu advertised which would have provided a bit more flavor. Server never came to check with us once entrees delivered. 3% added for cc transactions.

We were in the area for the weekend and wanted someplace to watch the Miami Hurricanes football game. We were told about the Sandbar and it didn’t disappoint. Everyone was nice and the food was good. Lazlo gave us great customer service too. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and talking with the locals. We will definitely go back if we are ever back in the area. Can’t beat a great sports bar with good food and cold beer!!

Christmas Day 2024. We stopped in for lunch and found a lively and friendly staff as well as lots of friendly locals. This is a cool dive bar with great bar food and cold drinks. The menu is long with lots of specials. Today was a Turkey dinner and since it was Wednesday bbq ribs as well. W/o ordered some raw oysters and the group basket and both were delicious.. Up to this point I had found the people on the beach and street not very friendly. I guess they were tourists. Some people like touristy place but I like the out of the way places where locals hang out. Never fails you meet some interesting folks. Highly recommend and will return

Food quality is terrible. We ordered the Grouper sandwiches. Fish came out like a plank of shoe leather…about 1/4 inch thick and overcooked. It was so horrible, I couldn’t believe it. Had no idea you could even do that to Grouper. Service was ok. Atmosphere is a typical dive bar – ok. We won’t be back.

They have happy hour which was nice. The food was simple nothing super special. Although I will say the sweet habanero sauce that came with the conk fritters should definitely come with the fish tacos because it took the fish tacos to a whole other level. Can’t remember our servers name but she was fine in the beginning then her attitude changed midway and it wasn’t busy at all when we went. She and 3 other servers were standing in a corner on their phones.

The food here is fantastic, with great prices and an abundance of TVs. They also offer happy hour specials with delicious oysters and frog legs. The grouper, fries, mussels, and linguine in red sauce are all amazing. The service is top-notch, but the tacos were a bit bland.
