This is a magical place that will exceed your expectations ✨. Everything you taste is so flavorful and carefully curated. It is clear the chef is dedicated to their craft and ensures that every bite is thoughtful, flavor-forward, and presented beautifully. The ambiance is warm and intimate, making you feel as if you’re the only one in the restaurant. This is truly a fine dining experience. Sanctuary Bistro is a gem, and one of the best restaurants in Charlotte and beyond. Please continue to support them. I definitely recommend the sushi, creme brulee oolong tea, creme brulee, and lion’s mane roast. Although, you truly cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. I could write paragraphs on their deliciousness, but you should just see for yourself.

Sanctuary Bistro is my favorite restaurant in Charlotte. This is THE restaurant I want everyone I know to experience. Having worked in restaurants for over 25 years, I rarely rave about both service and food, but both are on a caliber that is rarely seen in a CLT restaurant. I’m not even vegan, but between the laid-back vibe, INCREDIBLE service and OUT OF THIS WORLD food, my only complaint would be the parking lot (thanks Trader Joe’s). The oyster mushrooms are SO INCREDIBLE, I even ate our leftovers cold. If you’re looking for great service and food with an unplugged vibe, there’s nowhere else you should go. Your best bet is to make a RSVP. There’s a $15 fee per person, but it’s immediately refunded when your party arrives. More than likely, Jennifer will be your server. If you don’t remember her, chances are she’ll remember you.

Finally got to try Sanctuary Bistro ! It did not disappoint. Loved that everything is vegan and gluten free! The people are so nice. The atmosphere is fantastic. And the food was absolutely delicious! We started with a tasty amuse-bouche compliments of the chef. Then a butternut squash lasagna with habanero sauce and a black bean steak with smashed potatoes. We finished with tiramisu for an overall wonderful experience! We will definitely be back!!

I committed to being vegan a month and a half ago and this was our first vegan restaurant. We didn’t know what to expect but I was excited to try it. I felt bad for hubby who had no clue what to order and we were not sure what a lot of the menu items were. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the delicious food, to the tranquil atmosphere and the helpful and friendly staff. We will definitely go back and try more dishes.

If you are seeking mouthwatering culinary food with all the trappings, Sanctuary Bistro is the place to go. Of all the restaurants we visited in Charlotte, I would put this one at the top of the list for exquisite vegan food. Everything on the menu is vegan. The decorum is simple, yet elegant. The waitress offered excellent service. The restaurant is small and does not have many tables. Reservations are probably a good idea.

My husband and I drove over an hour from SC just to eat here, and it was totally worth the drive! Everything, I truly mean everything, about this place is perfect. I have 2 autoimmune disorders, and have been eating vegan occasionally for a few weeks, and this place has convinced me to go full speed ahead! The service is fun and attentive. The food…even if you aren’t vegan, this food will make you so happy! I love that they are gluten -free as well. I seriously have nothing bad to say about this place at all. The best part is that it is a small place, and I was very comfortable with that because it feels like you are eating in someone’s well-decorated and very clean home. They have paid so much attention to everything and the smallest details are taken care of. I left there very full, but not sick feeling because what I ate was delicious and also good for me. It was really nice to be able to choose anything I wanted from the entire menu and not worry about getting sick from gluten or dairy. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It was my husband’s birthday, and he got a special birthday truffle that was absolutely amazing. They do things with plants that I never thought were possible. This is my new favorite place in Charlotte!!!!
