Original mexican food with some interesting twist. Meals were tasty and well dressed with some advised explanations from the bartenders.

French Mex
Cannot expect to have authentic Mexican in Copenhagen, but this comes close to it with a few twists. I didn’t care for some of them such as shiso leaves and pistachios in the guacamole. I also wasn’t pleased with the prefix menu as there were only a few things that I wanted to try

I had a fantastic dining experience at Sanchez. The food was outstanding — every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot to enjoy an evening out. On top of that, the service was excellent — the staff were not only friendly and welcoming but also attentive without being intrusive, which made the whole experience feel extra special. Overall, Sanchez really delivers on all fronts: great food, great vibe, and great people. Highly recommended!

I’ve been following the restaurant for years, and finally had the chance to visit Sanchez during my Copenhagen trip, it exceeded all expectations. The team was exceptional, attentive to every detail and carefully accommodating dietary requirements. Each course was both wonderful and surprising, with the dessert being the standout moment of the evening. The pricing is fair for what you receive; while not inexpensive, it’s absolutely justified given the quality of food and the caliber of service. I’ll definitely return on future visits to Copenhagen.

Excellent food, really attentive and competent waiters, and most surprising—not that expensive. I’m not usually one for tequila-based cocktails, but since it was a Mexican restaurant, I figured “when in Mexico…” and ordered a margarita. I was pleasantly surprised; it was nicely balanced and a real standout so much I’m thinking I might have to rethink my policy on tequila.
With cocktails, snacks, the menu, and an extra dish, I landed on about 1000kr, and I’ve had many experiences not as good for much more money. The table was a bit drafty for one in my company, and the music was perhaps a tad too loud, but these are very small marks that cannot really stain what was a wonderful evening. I’ll be back!

Visited in April 2025. We had the spicy nuts, 5 course menu, and 1 burrito add-on. The food was delicious and more than enough. The drinks options were interesting and reasonably priced. However, it was a bit strange to jit be able to see the menu online before booking.
Keep in mind that I liked most things because I’m a huge fan of sour / limes and spicy / chili. If you don’t like these, then Sanchez might not be the place for you.
The staff was nice, but the first course took a bit to arrive. Also, we got a bar table, which I thought was only the case for “a la carte” reservations.
I really liked the plants in the restaurant. The music was nice, some latin-american songs, but it was a bit loud for my taste. I also had to queue to use the restrooms, which was a bit surprising.
All in all, I liked this place and I’d happily come back.
