We ordered:
• Soft shell crab roll
• Blue crab California roll
• Yellowtail avocado
• Jumbo shrimp & vegetable tempura
• Salmon skin salad
Standouts for me were the yellowtail avocado roll — simple, fresh, and also one of the lower-priced rolls on the menu — and the salmon skin salad, which came in generous portions and was very shareable. The tempura was light and crispy; I’d recommend ordering two portions if you want something more filling.
Overall, the food was solid across the board. Pricing skews slightly higher, likely due to the location, but portions were fair. We spent about $38 per person and left comfortably full.
A great backup plan that didn’t disappoint — I’d definitely return when in the area.
The sashimi quality is excellent, but what stands out the most are the surprisingly good appetizers—each uniquely customized. I appreciate their balanced and diverse flavors; it’s a delightful experience.
I’ve been a few sushi restaurants in my time and yes the Omakase is the way to go. For those of you who have a love of sushi and adventure, this is a chef’s choice menu.
For me this experience like NO other sushi experience ever. Yes, the fish selection was excellent, the service was optimal and on point. But what makes me say that this was exceptional experience is that as soon as the sushi chef realized I was left-handed…he switched the sushi around so I was able to pick up the sushi with my chopsticks ease. Well only if you’re left handed would you appreciate this. And this is why I think this was THE best hands down. Don’t get me wrong the fish selection and all the extras were amazingly delicious. I’ll definitely be back when ever I visit.
