We had an average dinner at San Miguel’s but exceptional service. Our server, Drue, went above and beyond providing quality service. He provided helpful food suggestions. Checked on our table and others frequently. When the order of beans was left off the entree. We told him not to worry about it. He went to the kitchen, brought it himself, apologizing, and offered a discount. Our entrees, Outrageous Chimichanga and Two Enchiladas, were cheesy and loaded with meat. However, they were not as delectable as we hoped. The queso dip was warm but cooled quickly. The added beef was slightly seasoned. There’s an extensive menu with numerous options. Seating is not an issue unless you want an inside dining table. There’s plenty of outdoor seating.

We had a great meal. I had fish tacos with rice and black beans salsa which was delicious. Well seasoned and cooked. Someone else had stuffed poblano with refried beans and rice – which was delicious also. We started with guacamole and chips which was out of this world! The waiter was very attentive and had a great personality. I would go back daily- that’s how good and filling it was. Great view and atmosphere! The patio is also pet friendly

Drue what’s my server? He explained to me exactly it was available on any aspect I wanted of the menu. I was craving their massive fajita nachos. They were to die for it was worth waiting every second of that the fresh salsa was very good. I craved it and continued to have it the entire night. I didn’t know what else to enjoy to drink so I had a water with lemon and lime. I then had a housemaid strawberry margaritas splash with a mixture of four different pieces of fruit. I then had them bring me grilled whitefish tacos. They were absolutely perfect with the black bean salsa and the mixture of vegetables and a very light. Hello, I had more than enough food and it was worth every second that I spent there and every penny it cost. If you’re craving fresh Mexican near the Disney Hilton Head vacation home, you need to try here

Dinner was excellent. I got the fajitas which were probably the best I have ever had. My wife had tacos and they were delicious also. Plenty of outdoor seating overlooking Shelter Cove Marina. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Hands down the BEST Mexican restaurant we have EVER been to!! My wife and I eat a lot of Mexican food and this was the best one we’ve ever eaten at. Our waiter was #1!! He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. We will %200 be back to San Miguel! Please try this place out, its well worth it!!!

Shoutout to our server Freddie who went above and beyond, turning 4 stars into 5 with his exceptional attention to detail and kindness. We had dinner for two, ordering guacamole and two fajitas. The chips and guacamole were a highlight of the meal. I ordered vegetarian with rice and beans, and our server astutely pointed out they were cooked with meat ingredients, thankfully. Outdoor seating is available and recommended for a nice view of the docks, yachts, and live music.

When we went the first night there was going to be 1.5 hr wait so the next night we went earlier to beat the busy rush. They do NOT take reservations.
