Ordered a family meal. Got the 24 peice chicken home and was dry and almost inedible. Talked to Faith and she informed me that I would have my meal refunded back to my card within twenty four hours. I waited two days.Nothing happened.I called and got another manager told him of the situation.And informed him that I didn’t want to wait anymore.And if it wasn’t handled, I would be posting this on google, well, here, we are…. pictures are attached food was inedible, All I wanted was my money back….

Ordered through doordash. Got a big container of soup for 4 with pot roast , they refused to give more than 3 crackers packs ))) (REALLY ), girl at the register got upset because doordasher asked for receipt then she turned around and left. “Wonderful” service. Won’t be ordering from this location . They just lost a regular weekly customer. They didn’t bother to staple the bag either.

Oh my goodness how can I say this this was the second or third holiday that I’ve ordered from Bob Evans here in Venice and I have to tell you that this order was made by someone that didn’t realize that they closed at 7:00 p.m. needless to say I called at about 6:30 to tell them should I come now or wait about my order. That’s when I found out that they close at 7:00 so I quickly made my way over there with haste. When I got it was about 10 minutes to closing give or take a minute or two, and the manager very very very very very very nice person and all the stuff that I saw extremely nice I mean they were exhausted I could tell but they still had no issue going and getting my stuff and getting it ready or even though they had already pretty much done for the evening and wanted to get done to their families for Christmas Eve, they didn’t say that but obviously people don’t want to be at work and on top of that have a giant order come in 10 minutes before you close. So even though the person that ordered made that mistake that they didn’t even blink they could have my order ready and I mean I had an order very big order for over 12 people put it that way and they had not put together so perfectly I can’t even explain. So huge shout out to all the staff that were working Christmas Eve 2025, and also a big big shout out to one of the managers that I spoke with she was just the best. Never had an issue with Bob Evans especially the Venice location. They always go that extra mile. So the manager that night 10 minutes still closing on Christmas Eve put together an order an entire Christmas Eve dinner order together without saying anything because technically she didn’t have to really she did not. Because it was a mess up on our behalf not hers not Bob Evans but they still did it and they didn’t do it fast or lazily they did it and it came out perfect mind you as well my order was to be hot not the cold orders that you warm up when you get home everything was ready to go hot fresh. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to the manager that was on duty that night as well as the woman that was at the front she hadn’t hurt her arm so I believe she had a cast on it wrapped up with ace bandage. And she was still carrying bags and helping out, even though I insisted don’t worry about it whatever you get done I’ll get everything to the car just as it comes. She still was bringing it from the kitchen to the front but I needed to recognize her because I know working with that arm couldn’t have been easy. Thank you again do all the Bob Evans South that was working Christmas Eve 2025!

Update… I did what they asked in sharing my feedback through the website… No response no reaction from the location in Venice. Like they don’t care about losing customers.
We are long time customers. Over 6 years! Very disappointed today. We wanted to have the three course dinner for two. Tried ordering online and we’re not able to. The website kept declining payment with every card and method we tried. (Same card used this week for ordering appliances at best buy and no troubles at all, use it all the time)
So went to the restaurant instead.
It took over 15 minutes for the only server available to even come to us, even served people who came after us first, which we didn’t appreciate of course. She did a great job at ignoring us. When we could finally order we couldn’t order what we had chosen online. The dinner for two they offered instead didn’t have dessert and not the entree I had chosen online. Manager couldn’t help us she said.
We left very disappointed. Won’t be back.
If your offering online is different from the restaurant at least make sure your system works properly. Or have a solution at the restaurant for people to order at the spot for take out if you don’t want to serve it at the restaurant

Came in today February 1st. We waited for a while before being sat and our food took quite a while to be served but our server told us they were down a grill cook and it would take a minute. Our food came out and was not the best but not that bad. While we were waiting for our food a manager that was working was on the grill line started yelling at the employees so loud we could hear her from the dining room. She was dropping the F bomb repeatedly and was being incredibly disrespectful to the employees. She started yelling repeatedly and was saying very rude things to her employees that everyone in the dining room could hear. She eventually came up to the dining room area and I saw her shove one of the employees next to the food window! She was being incredibly disrespectful to her employees and was not professional in any way. When we went to the register to leave we asked the woman there who that manager was and we found her name to me Faith. Will not be coming back due to the disrespectful environment of the manager and how long our food took.

From the moment we walked in, our greeter was very stern,, not friendly at all!
We got seated, waitress seemed nice enough but not attentive to us at all!!! Had to asked across the isle for refills on coffee. When she returned w coffee, we had a question for her & she was too busy talking to her coworker to notice that we wanted her attention!!! Very POOR customer service!!! Then I had to speak loudly as she walked by to ask for a
to go box!!! Not once in the hour we were thr did she ask us ANYTHING….. how is everything, more coffee, can I get you
guys anything else…..
So needless to say, We WILL NOT return
to this location!!!!!! 🙁

Our first time at this Bob Evans. Three of the four of us enjoyed our meals. I went with the 3 piece fish platter with 2 onion rings, french fries and Coleslaw. Very good and reasonably priced. Server was a little slow in the beginning, but redeemed herself nicely. I like their varied menu. I highly recommend

Bob Evans never seems to fail me! This Bob Evans was clean and bright and welcoming. Nanci my waitress was excellent. Chicken fried steak with eggs and hashbrowns… Some biscuits and coffee that never ran out.
