This restaurant keeps me coming back. It’s definitely my first choice for Mexican food in Crawfordville. They’ll probably put their competitor out of business. Everything is always flavorful and fresh and the margaritas are always good, not watery like they are down the street. They offer both Tex-Mex options and more authentic fare, like sopes and tacos de lingua. The service is always top notch. My only complaint is that their outdoor seating outdoor seating area is never open.

We recently visited when the phones were down, so we had to place our order in person, which wasn’t an issue at all. The staff was extremely kind and very apologetic about the inconvenience, which we truly appreciated. They were able to prepare our food very quickly, and we ordered everything to go. When we got home, the food was still hot and fresh, which was a huge plus. While the food itself didn’t have a lot of flavor for our personal taste, it was still enjoyable because everything was warm and well-prepared. Overall, the great customer service and quick turnaround made it a positive experience.

San Marcos gives El Jaliscos a run for its money! The service is fast and friendly. The food was delicious! I really enjoyed the salsa and queso it a most reminded me of Tex-mex dishes.

Just tried San Marcos and was extremely impressed. Service was top notch, Food was very good and flavorful. Dining room was very clean and well decorated. The delivery robot was very cool. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. Thank goodness we have a Mexican restaurant that is better than the “other” places in Crawfordville. Great jobs everybody. We will be back!

Food would be good if it was served hot! Cold beans, rice, cheese dip, Chicken chimichanga. Fijitas did not come out sizzling like most Mexican Restaurant. The only thing that was served hot was the chicken wings. What’s really sad is that not one person asked us how was our food ???

Was hesitant to try this place out… Hoping it wouldn’t be disappointing like El Jalisco. OMG! It went beyond expectations! The carne asada was tender and came out on a sizzling skillet. My husband got the fajita rice and all he kept saying was “this is really good!” I hope they keep this momentum going. Hats off to the chef. Alejandra was a great server. Will def be back.

My wife and I decided to try this place as it is new. Won’t be back anytime soon. My wife had the chicken fajitas and I had beef burrito deluxe.My wife’s chicken pieces were so small and hidden in all the onions that she had to actually hunt for pieces to put on her tortillas. The burritos were soggy and had very little flavor. The queso was almost like white water. Our order came to almost 40 bucks. Won’t be back.

San Marcos just became my go to Mexican restaurant. The grilled Mexican Chicken was outstanding, and the Rice side dish was the best I’ve had in a while. My wife had the enchilada dinner and a Crazy Horse Margarita. The enchilada dinner was very good, the Crazy Horse outstanding. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall an excellent experience.
