Walked in to place a togo order. The staff was attentive. Asked me if I wanted the lunch or dinner ACP portion. Thought that was very nice. Placed my order and it didn’t take long at all. As you can see by the photos it was a lot of food and it didn’t disappoint.

I love mexican food and this was our first time eating here. Upon being seated, it seemed like this would have been a good choice for our working business meeting. I guess we stayed too long due to no one came back to fill our drinks or to ask if we needed anything. We ordered over $50+ in food/drinks so we weren’t just taking up space. There were only 2 to 4 other guest during the entire time with multiple open seats. It became an unwelcoming experience. We will not return nor will we recommend this place.

We arrived around 9:30pm. Took 6-7 minutes for us to get chips and another 10 for us to get drinks. Looked at my fork while waiting to order food and fork was dirty and stained. Finally ordered food. Son ordered Quesadillas and I ordered chicken fajitas. Food came to the table and there was a long black hair in my rice and beans. Lady decided to bend down an look closer at my food and said “oh there is a hair in your food!!” And then proceeds to tell me a story about her going to Applebees last week and the waitress was “having a bad day and there was hair in her food” and she was going to make my whole order all over again. My food finally came back and had to get another fork as she took my fork with my food back to the kitchen. Had to wait 3 minutes for another fork. Bill finally came for the table and not only did she not ring up my son’s food correctly but she only took off $3 for my “inconvenience “. Service was slow and had to send food back due to hair. Definitely won’t be coming back here

First time at San Luis I. This place is nice and cozy but not as upscale as San Luis II. They brought me a huge basket of chips and some tasty salsa. I was also asked if I wanted spicy salsa which was served in 2 bowls with a spoon. The red was very spicy and the green tomatillo salsa was very tasty. I ordered the Carne asada served with beans and rice. There was also a grilled green pepper(mild) and a grilled onion bulb, avocado salad, pico and an orange wedge. The sweet tea was very good. They also gave me a choice of corn or flour tortillas. There was no way to finish off this food. My dining time was early evening and they would have allowed me to order lunch which is extraordinary. There were many college students there who probably did order the lower priced lunch offerings.

Food great, service amazing! “Everyday specials” for 5.99 for the margarita size in the photo attached to this review! I also ordered a jumbo marg for only 10.99, when most places charge $13+ and the best part about the margs is they are tasty and aren’t super strong!

The food was good. So says my son. I did not consume anything other thank the tortilla chips with lemon water. The server (Madley) could have being a little friendlier because she never smiled at us once. I could say my sons enjoyed his food so that was a plus for the establishment.
