Moxie Modern has an excellent atmosphere and incredible food. The food was prepared wonderfully! Some of my favorite dishes were the bone marrow mouse and butternut chestnut soup. They had so much flavor and it just melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend dinning here.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at The Moxie! From the moment we walked in, every single member of the team was attentive and welcoming. Not one staff member walked past our table without checking in to make sure we were okay or needed anything. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated.
Our drinks were constantly refilled, the bartender was on point, and our server was exceptional. The entire staff made us feel valued and taken care of the whole time.
Now let’s talk about the food. It was absolutely delicious! Every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. And the dessert? To die for. The perfect ending to an already incredible dining experience.

The Moxie Modern is an amazing and very tasteful restaurant. Starting from the ambiance and vibes are immaculate! My birthday reservations was at 9:00pm and plans ended up taking a turn for me but the restaurant did hold my reservation until my dad was there too hold it so we wouldn’t miss the dinner . Which was greatly appreciated by me and my family !!!! We had a great time , great food talks and vibes once again . I definitely recommend the Moxie to anyone who is looking for an amazing cuisine with great drinks vibes and where a customer is treated more than great ! The hospitality they had for me and my family and for my birthday dinner was amazing !! Them keeping the restaurant open for me and my family too enjoy my night , honestly made my birthday ! ☺️Service is 10/10!! Will be back again .

First time at Moxie Modern. The host was so kind. He gave us our own photo session in the restaurant. Our waitress Christine was also amazing. The food was delicious. We ended up getting an appetizer, two entrees, dessert and expresso. We will definitely be back again. Everything was excellent from the food to the workers to the owner.

Everything from start to finish was perfect. Margs tasted great and the bread came with a delicious garlic butter. Fried burrata was good and had a nice spicy kick to the sauce. For my entree I got the short rib gnocchi which was awesome — they give you tiny gnocchi too! Finally, the affogato came with a large portion of gelato and espresso and was served in a perfect glass for affogatos. Whether by chance or intentionally, this place seems like they pass the test on all minor details. Definitely coming back to try other dishes.

Great vibe, Olivia(our server was EXCELLENT) and had great recommendations for drinks, apps, entrees, and desserts.
To start, the rustic bread and seasoned butter were straight up impressive! Delicious.
Loved the whipped house made ricotta with honey drizzle and crostini. I could eat it for dessert.
The Chicken Milanese was melt in your mouth tender and flavorful with a creamy mushroom sauce. Highly recommend.
Sadly, my fish was overcooked but, they were kind in offering me something else (but I passed on the offer due to being full from apps and sides).
And speaking of sides, the sweet chili roasted brussels sprouts were to die for! I took them home and devoured them the next day

A group of fun women in our 60s enjoyed a wonderful Wednesday night dinner at Moxie, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, the cocktails were expertly crafted, and the ambience was vibrant without being overwhelming—perfect for conversation and relaxation. Parking was easy (always a plus!), and the service was truly spectacular: attentive, warm, and professional from start to finish. Moxie made our evening feel special, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

Excellent restaurant. Food was fantastic and service was amazing. Our server Olivia was super nice and on top of everything. Music was great and not too loud that you can’t hear your date. Parking is around back and they have valet. Will definitely be coming back!

Not a great experience. If you like a restaurant for the food and drinks, you won’t be disappointed. Chicken dishes, salads, and drinks were great.
The bad: reservations, seating, service. I emailed in advance inquiring about a the DJ on fridays and bringing a cake. I called a few days after the email because of no response, ended up talking to the manager. He told me there’s no cake cutting fee and he’ll seat my party near the DJ, call with any changes. I ended up recieving an email back saying there is a cake cutting fee… which is odd since the manager I spoke to on the phone told me there wasn’t (there ended up not being a fee). In the email the person also didn’t ask me if I wanted to book a reservation as well which I thought was odd, just a very short email. A few members of my party weren’t able to come so I called hours prior saying the new party number. Said its fine. I got a text updating it, then a text hours later updating it back to the original number… weird. Upon arrival, the table was set up for the original number. I explained to the host I called earlier about changing it. She ended up seating us, then the server made us get up to push two tables away from our table to accommodate us. Kind of frustrating sitting then getting up going back to the host then going back down again. We also felt the AC on under the table and were freezing. While waiting for the rest of our party, the server didn’t ask about drinks or anything. Rest of the party came, he asked for drinks, and just left the table without getting everyone’s drink orders.. Kinda odd. Our server seemed friendly at first, then after he realized only one person of our party was drinking alcohol he seemed defeated and didnt want to bother with us. He took our apps/entrees at once. Took a little bit of time for apps, but the time between apps/entrees was insane. Maybe 40 minutes? The table wasn’t cleared off at all before entrees as well. We literally put all of our dirty app dishes in the corner of our table so maybe someone would get the idea to pick them up. Entrees came out at separate times. Surprisingly the soup came out 10 mins after the rest of our entrees, and a pasta dish was made without chicken. The server took the pasta dish away from the person who ordered it, to put the chicken on top… which took 10 mins…. We all waited for everyone to get their food to start eating. After waiting about 20 mins after we were done with our food for any boxes or plates to be taken out of the way, cake was brought out (the candles i put in the cake weren’t lit when taken out and we needed to light them ourselves…) . Ironically when we wanted to take pictures together and pictures of the cake and all, this was the only time our server came up to us more than twice in 15 minutes. We felt so rushed and this was unfortunate as i came to celebrate my birthday with friends and did not feel special at all. Check came and it was a disaster trying to figure out bill as the service charge was put in the menu prices on the receipt but not on the menu or something? Never been to a restaurant where the bill was this complicated. Won’t be coming back and wont be recommending to anyone either ..
