From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, the level of attention and care was incredible. The team makes you feel truly welcomed and taken care of.
They offer a full Italian-style dining experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and you can really feel the quality and thought behind each dish.
They don’t have a traditional menu. Instead, they work with three different concepts, and each concept is designed for two people. The portions were definitely enough for two people, which we really appreciated.
If I had to mention one small downside, it would be the absence of a written menu. When the server explains everything verbally, it can be a little hard to remember all the details, and you don’t have clear price visibility. I also imagine it might be tiring for the servers to explain everything repeatedly.
Overall, it was a beautiful experience and we would happily come back again.

i love the idea of having just a set menu and letting them serve you and decide what to give you, it also implies that all they are serving is fresh. the place itself is amazing, beautiful, cozy, by the water, and food was very good, i couldn’t say is the best pasta i’ve ever had in miami, but it’s very good, a place worth going and enjoying.
service was good, sometimes a bit slower than expected and noticed a server explaining the menu with prices and everything to the table beside us, we weren’t properly explained all that we felt.

We went to San Lorenzo for a birthday celebration what a treat! From the decoration, to the food, to the service!! Since we were a large party we got to order almost everything from the menu to share so we got the opportunity to try a lot of their dishes. The seafood pasta was my favorite but overall everything was delicious! Service was on point, all the personnel was very attentive and made our evening even better. We will be back for sure!

I am a Miami local and have been to many restaurants. It’s hard to impress me but this place is absolutely magical. First, super private and perfect for date night with plenty of street parking and valet. Second, the outdoor area with the canal was so dreamy, quiet, and not windy. Third, it felt like a piece of Italy in Miami.

Phenomenal from start to finish. Starting with no online reservations, this place is run how an old school restaurant should be ran. Staff is authentic from Italy, owner is in multiple nights a week making sure the operation is smooth. I am hesitant to tell too many people about this spot because I would like to keep it to myself and low key that’s how much I like it. Highly recommend.

Mattia and team did it again. Had dinner at San Lorenzo to celebrate a friend’s birthday and it was a great success! The food was outstanding, especially the seafood linguine and the meat taliatta. The 4 appetizers were outstanding. Impecable service with from the entire team. The hidden gem is the balcony in the back that faces the canal and offers a more private setting than the main dining room. The main dining area is well appointed with a well stocked bar and a 1950s era decor that beings all the charm of a traditional Italian favorite. Love it and we’ll come back for sure. Starting from service: it is a top notch! Probably because almost all staff are from Italy, you feel care , all attention to details, respect thats what Italian service is like. Big difference with American dinning spots ….
