San Juan BBQ is the first restaurant that’s ever inspired me to write a review, that’s how great it was.

The food was delicious, and the service made the experience even better.
Backstory: After a full day hiking and exploring Mesa Verde, we were starving and still had a 3.5-hour drive to Albuquerque. While searching for a place to eat, I found San Juan BBQ, easily the best choice we could’ve made.
We left Mesa Verde around 5 p.m. and were set to arrive at 6:40 p.m., only 20 minutes before they closed at 7. I called to check when the kitchen closed and if arriving at 6:40 would be okay. They reassured us not to worry, mentioning customers order late sometimes. When we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming, warm, and friendly. We never felt rushed and were able to enjoy our delicious meal.

Love everything about it got a brisket sandwhich and its was amazing even with just 2 toppings (green Chile jam and jalapeños). It was a pretty big burger. so amazing and the staff are very sweet and hospitable 20 something bucks for myself and my other half..great deal and amazing people keep up the great work

We have been wanting to stop in and try this place and tonight was the night. Being from Texas we are pretty picky about our BBQ and I have to say this is some of the best BBQ I have ever had. We got the sampler and not only was it all good, the portions are generous too. We also had to try the loaded fries and they were delicious. We have found our new BBQ place here in Farmington.

I’ve been hearing a lot of Buzz about this place. Everything I’ve heard has been accurate about how fantastic the barbecue is! This little food truck is turning out some of the best barbecue in San Juan County! Highly encourage anyone in the area to stop in for lunch and grab the brisket sandwich with a small side of potato salad. If you’re trying to feed a group, consider the sampler; it looks like it could legitimately feed three to four people. I hear that they do a very solid catering business in the area also. Their barbecue sauce is a very balanced, sweet barbecue sauce with just a little bit of tanginess. Great food made by a wonderful local family!

The green chili ribs were so tender, falling off the bone, the turkey was the juiciest I’ve ever had, and the smoke flavor was on point! So delicious and not overwhelming.
My man got the pulled pork taco, and he was snarfing it before I could barely get photos
I got the cob salad add turkey, and wow, my favorite now!
Also, their sauces are fire!!! ✨
