We’ve been several times and have found the food to be exceptional every time. Right off the bat they won us over with the salsa- they offer a non-spicy version that is actually a good salsa, rather than either saying they don’t have a mild salsa or bringing a bowl of tomato soup and calling it salsa. The fajitas are delicious, even the chicken is very flavorful. The only thing we have not been super crazy about is the elote (Mexican street corn). It comes with only one half-cob and then more corn down in the dish already removed from the cob. The flavor of the off-the-cob corn wasn’t the same as the corn that was served on the cob. The cob was fantastic… the other corn was so salty we couldn’t eat much of it and the flavor wasn’t there. We liked it, but it’s kind of a pricy appetizer to only get half a cob of corn. Otherwise, we’ve loved everything we’ve tried there (chimichangas, enchiladas, tostadas, fajitas). Service has been great as well.

We had the lunch portion of the steak fajitas and enchiladas supreme and they were delicious. Our server Felipe was quick bringing our beverages and quick with the food as well. We ordered and I swear the food arrived within 5 minutes. Our drinks were never empty and he checked up on us enough times that we never needed wait for anything. We’ll definitely be returning soon.

it was ok, environment is amazing and the service but the food is not what it could be. my sister was so nauseated by the food she passed out on her boyfriend.

I ordered the chimichanga combo and was really disappointed. The dishes on the menu are authentic options, but the flavor and spices just don’t taste authentic at all. The chimichanga had a salty taste, but it had no real seasoning or flavor. For the price they charge, I expected much better.
Before this order, I tried the fajita meal and the steak was really tough and chewy. I couldn’t enjoy it at all. It was expensive and ended up being a waste of food.
I will say that their shrimp ceviche was pretty good, which is their saving grace with me.
Honestly, I’d rather go to Taco Bell for the flavor and the price they offer. I’m not sure I’d order from here again.

San Jose’s is such a wonderful little Mexican restaurant located on the far right side of the public shopping center. My family and I have visited many times and never cease to be impressed. Weather it’s the outstanding food, the super friendly service (Braden it’s great!), or just enjoying a laid-back, family atmosphere, it’s always a good time. Check them out!

After running errands, we stopped in nearby San Jose’s for a quick lunch. My wife ordered the Nachos Supreme, and I had the lunch size enchiladas and rice, which adds a taco but omits the beans. That works for me.
Everything came out nice and hot and was delicious. With an iced tea, all for under $30. Enjoy!

This Mexican cuisine stands out due to its defining characteristics of freshness and authenticity. My husband’s Skirt steak was tender and juicy, while the traditional chile relleno impressed me greatly, warranting a 5-star rating. The quality and freshness of ingredients and products at this establishment are noteworthy, leaving me wondering if all restaurants in San Jose maintain such high standards.

Great place! The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I had the cocktail de camarón—hands down the best I’ve ever had! They also make excellent margaritas, perfect to enjoy with your meal. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Mexican food and great service.

A cute little place with soft music playing. Was seated right away and received fast and friendly service. Everything was great. It is kinda costly however.
