Growing up in Jalisco, Ruben Leon and Josue Flores and his brother in law, loved their grandfather’s traditional cooking, when they inmigrated to the United States about 25 years ago, they all worked in mexican restaurant in Virginia and North Carolina, and longed for the cuisine of their childhood, so they decided to open a restaurant together.

I always order through DoorDash in this restaurant and I had no problems however, today I ordered two meals one of them was rice with chicken. I had never tried that dish in this restaurant and I decided to do it because of the image of the menu where you can see a rice with mixed vegetables and chicken pieces, but surprise! Upon receiving the order this was nothing like the image of the restaurant, it turns out that the cooks placed a basic rice without anything and took the chicken strips they use for the fajitas and put them on top! Please don’t try to scam people and even less the customers who have won! I already reported the incident with DoorDash, I don’t expect apologies, I hope they learn the lesson of how much reviews weigh on Google.

From the moment of being seated which was a few seconds. The staff worked like a single body. Each part was in sync with the other team members. From fresh hot chips and fresh salsa to the drink order that was taken as soon as we were seated, flawless. The wait staff were neat, the restaurant and tables were spotless and our orders were taken as soon as we were ready. They were fairly busy but we may as well have been the only people in San José. The staff were friendly, smiling and eager to serve. My entree was the same as my order at the Rocky Mount location, flawless and seamless with freshness and presentation. They really go to no end to make the plates look like an upscale expensive meal for a real value and stellar dining experience. I only wish there were more San José locations because the owners and staff make this my very favorite Hispanic dining establishment. The menu has an almost endless variety of options and combinations to choose from. For lunch I always get the spinach and chicken enchiladas. I’ve had many dishes and every single one is foodgasmic!

I went to order the fajitas for 2 i was not impressed. It used to be you got shrimp and pulled pork steak and chicken and on saying they gave us was steak and chicken. The guacamole wasn’t a lot of it, especially for the price you pay. So they’ve gone downhill tremendously. I’m gonna try some other Mexican restaurants around the area. But the service was awesome, but they need to go back the way they used to be for their food.And the servings, especially when you pay thirty dollars

Service is always really fast and food is cooked fresh. The price is very reasonable as well. We normally pay around $25 per person with an appetizer and entree each. Sometimes the dishes are a little different when we order but that’s not unusual for restaurants. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice Mexican restaurant to try out.

Hubby and I went here on a whim cause we were in the area. The food was fantastic, and the serving size was absurd. The cervesa was big! Not as cold as I’m used to for draft beer though. The service was meh. . Had to ask for their hot sauce 4 times from 3 different people. We took home a lot of food and ate it again last night. Overall, we would go again. My husband even liked the music & the fact that we could watch football while we ate. Shout out to the forth server who was easily 9 months pregnant. She was the most efficient.

My wife and stopped here two days ago; found it on Google Maps while traveling. Compliments to the kitchen, food was great. Atmosphere was great. Server was in his second day and made a mistake on our order; my wife ordered chicken and spinach enchiladas but was served the grilled chicken and spinach plate but he offered to change it…it looked good so she kept it and it was really good. I got enchiladas Norteño and it was excellent. Paper towel dispenser in the men’s room gave a nice length of paper for drying hands though the room was just so-so. Overall a nice experience and I would not hesitate to visit again.

It would have been good , the cheese sauce rocks, but the margarita was honestly gross. Not a good mix.
So I tried a frozen one, sadly, it was also not good.
Their salt is green and looks disgusting!!
