My wife and I were looking for a new spot to try, and I remembered this place used to be Osaka. From the outside it looked nice, and once we got inside, we could tell they had made quite a few changes from the old Osaka restaurant layout. The decor was modern and clean, definitely a nice update.
We were seated by a friendly hostess, and our server, Kristina, came by shortly after to greet us. She went over the menu and explained they have an all-you-can-eat option, but you have to finish everything or they charge you a fee. They also offer a la carte option, which we decided to go with since it was our first visit and we didn’t know what to expect.
My wife ordered the filet mignon and shrimp hibachi, and I went with a few sushi rolls. The food came out fairly quickly, and Kristina was great about keeping our drinks full before we even had to ask.
Unfortunately, the hibachi didn’t live up to our expectations. The shrimp were overcooked, and the rice tasted like it had been made a few days ago. Overall, the food lacked seasoning and flavor. The sushi rolls were decent not amazing, but the presentation was on point.
They have plenty of parking and lots of seating, but as far as the food goes, they really missed the mark!!!

Samurai Sushi and Hibachi is a cozy little place in Bloomington. They have an all you can eat option and the food brought to you is fresh and tastes wonderful. The portions are great.
The staff are friendly, non-judgmental, and constantly check up on you to see if you’d like anything else.
Would recommend a visit.

We always have great time here! One of the best options for all you can eat sushi in the twin cities. Compare to other buffet style places Samurai has a much better quality. The sushi is fresh and includes better options. It is reasonably priced as well. Great service too.

It was decent option at this location. They have a lunch and dinner menu. But they said we can order from either size when we went at 2-3. The sashimi was not great here. I like the yum yum roll.

We went with 12 hockey players, 3 little siblings and about 20 adults. They did a great job squeezing the whole team around one griddle and adults around 2. Kids and adults enjoyed it a ton. Our chefs and servers did amazing

The only reason I keep coming back here is the “food”—it’s really good. I’ve been for the all-you-can-eat dinner multiple times, and the quality always impresses me.
The service is just OK. I get that they’re busy, but we always have to wait a long time for staff or struggle looking for them.
Ps. Make sure to order a good amount of food at once, since it can take forever to flag someone down for more. Haha
