They cant handle serving more than 1 table at a time. The place was dead but it would take 45 munutes to get the 2 rolls we ordered because there was a table ahead of us?? Would have been nice to know that before being seated and taking the newborn out of the carseat to be fed….we got up and left. Place also amelled bad and we did not see thier rating displayed anywhere.

I’ve been here a few times. Food is ok. I just don’t like that the white fish sashimi is Tilapia. Tilapia is gross to me. I wouldn’t eat it cooked at all. The chef is great. His name is Junior with an apprentice named David. The miso soup could’ve used a little kombu flavor. They need to have more assortment of tea.

This was the WORST Japanese food I’ve ever eaten! And I’ve been eating Japanese food for 50 years. It made both my daughter and me feel sick. The miso soup had a strange taste. And the California roll was absolutely awful. They use smaller shrimp for their tempura than I’ve ever seen. A cost cutting feature, no doubt. The waitress was lovely – very friendly and kind. I hope she gets some experience and moves on. We’ll never return.

There is one item on the menu that this samurai sushi doesn’t have that other samurai sushi have. And this item is a very delicious one. It’s called the monkey brain. This is tempura mushroom cut in half with spicy tuna, avocado and cream cheese in the middle. Served with a small salad.

Seen good reviews on this place so decided to try it. Customer service was good. However, the food was not. Went in on a Wednesday approximately at 1:30p. Ordered two sushi rolls and the sashimi salad. The fish was not fresh. The spring mix salad used for the sashimi salad was old. I was picking out all the old lettuce as I ate. We did not enjoy our lunch at all. Sorry, not a fan of this place and will not be returning.

Not really good food. Ordered fried soft shell crabs, these were awful, I don’t know what kind of crabs they were, certainly not blue crab. I’ve no idea were they came, but they tasted like mud.
