Went into this place expecting sushi in Erie. What we got was well beyond expectations. From selection of fish to portion size to service. Everything was incredible. We were lucky enough to have a local friend recommend this place and I’m overly happy. This place knows sushi and knows sushi traditions. I would recommend place to anyone. So much so I’d make a 2&1/2 hour trip to eat here again

Loved the sushi I got here as well as the staff! They were very comforting and I truly did appreciate how one of them gave me a hug after finding out I had cancer. They give out fried ice cream as a birthday dessert which is very sweet. Would happily come again! I heard the poke bowls were good for the price too!

Reminded me of higher end sushi I’ve had back when I lived in Japan year 1980-1998 before coming to America.
Katsuo (Skipjack Tuna) Sake (Salmon) Unagi (Freshwater Eel)…Oishī.
Clear soup reminded me of a Miso Soup I had back when I would frequent Kiyota Hanare, I should go back there, sushi there was Near Perfection, Kimura-san is a perfect chef.
This has me yearning for a time long gone, maybe Merchant Seib will book that trip to Japan someday and we can go back to my favorite Sushi restaurants? Only time will tell, I hope to be home again, God willing.
