What a fantastic meal. The moment we stepped inside, we knew that this is going to be a great meal! The portions are generous a size, so we accidentally over ordered. The karaage was some of the best we ever had, with a deeply marinaded chicken in a tasty light batter. The agadashi tofu had a great crunchy coating, and silky tofu, and an excellent sauce. We each got an unagi donburi and it was the most generous amount of eel we have ever received at that price! In retrospect, sharing one small plate would have been enough. Highly recommend! 1,250k with Japanese tea.

A true hidden gem and, by far, my favorite lunch spot in Hoi An.

The restaurant is small and not particularly fancy—but don’t focus on that. The food is absolutely sublime. Every meal I had there was perfectly executed, without exception.

The staff is helpful, engaging, and genuinely friendly, which makes the experience even better. There’s a relaxed Japanese vibe, with a TV playing and books around, giving the place a cozy, laid-back atmosphere.

I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for something simple, authentic, and flawlessly executed.

I love Japanese food, so I went to this restaurant. The food was inexpensive and incredibly delicious. I couldn’t get enough. After the meal, they even offered to teach me origami and showed me how to make a swan! The food and the hospitality were fantastic!

If you love authentic and delicious japanese food, this is the place in Hoi An. The food is insanely tasty, portions are big and the staff is very friendly. They even gave us a small Origami-Lesson. Can highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

I went here last year, because the food was so delicious I had to comeback! I highly recommend the Tempura vegetables, Okonomiyaki and the dish with eel (cant remember the name). The hostess was so nice and offered to teach us how to make origami birds!

You don’t come for the ambience, but you do come for fabulous food, and gentle friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the octopus balls, ramen and katsu kare. Oh, and their Matcha ice cream is delicious.
A tiny little restaurant serving great Japanese food. And don’t expect sushi and sashimi.

Went here for a break from all the Vietnamese food we ate and it didn’t disappoint. From all of the havoc of the night market this place is quiet and tucked away for a peaceful meal. We ordered the seto and spicy miso ramen and it was really good. The takoyaki here was exactly what we needed. The place is air conditioned and kept us cool from the humidity. Overall would recommend this place!

An excellent Japanese restaurant. No fancy lights or decorations here, but a real authentic Japanese food. If you are tired of tourists restaurants or have Vietnamese flavour fatigue, come have a meal here. You won’t be disappointed.

Firstly i must say the servers were nice. Came along with high expectations given the number of 5 star reviews on this site. Ordered the katsu Don- pork cutlet on rice and egg , the chicken ball Don, and the agedashi tofu. The tofu was really nice and I’d highly recommend it. The other two dishes, not so good. The meat was so tough in both and it was too salty. Im not sure what the chicken ball was referring to as we got strips from a chicken leg or thigh complete with chewy tendons You can see the colour of the dishes are pretty much yellow/ brown. Some garnish or colour would make alot of difference and make the dish a bit more healthy.
It’s quite a pretty restaurant but very stuffy inside.
