Great food, service was excellent, the building is not. Water was leaking from the grill by the door, the TV had bloody hyenas eating the flesh of other animals on the nature channel (not the most appetizing thing for a date), and the tea rooms were closed even though the place was packed.
This place used to be beautiful and functional with great food. Now it just has great food. I would assume for a dinner that costs $140 they could afford to keep the place up especially since rice is so cheap. The grills were about the only thing that was both functional and clean.
The Hibachi chef was great, and food was good. Conversation was great and he did a great job pulling strangers together into conversation. Sushi was great like always. The server was sweet and attentive and gave us great service.
Overall I’d go back for the food, not for the atmosphere. If I’m craving a treat, I’d get something for myself but would be embarrassed to take others there. I hope they see this and do something about it.

My family and l visited here, and it was AWESOME! The service was great. We had two in our group allergic to shrimp, and their food was prepared separately. We had a group of 15, and we were all accommodated comfortably. I had steak and veggies.

Usually I enjoy these types of places but this visit the food was bland and tasteless. I added garlic butter, yum yum sauce, soy sauce, salt and pepper, but nothing helped. I ended up just taking the food home and doctoring it up with ingredients out the cabinet. a little over the top but it was the only way I could eat the food. Normally a little garlic butter is all I need, but I would’ve just thrown the food in the trash if not for the additives. Don’t waste your money, this place has definitely gone downhill.

Normally this is my go to hibachi restaurant but on this day the service was horrible. There was major confusion between our server and cook, our order along with the other six customers sitting at the grill had to be corrected and repeated multiple times to the point it became excessive. Me and my finace both ordered the Hibachi Steak and Salmon. We was served Shrimp and Steak instead, when we corrected the chef on our order he gave us a plate and asked for our “COOKED SHRIMP THAT HAD ALREADY BEEN PLACED ON PLATES THAT WE HAD BEEN EATING OFF OF BACK!” I am almost positive that is a health violation. On top of that we had to wait on our salmon to be cooked while our other food was getting cold. The food overall was good but still the principle of the matter. My fiance was also served her Merlot Wine in a dirty glass. The cook did not perform as they normally do as well. Just an overall bad experience.

I was there on my birthday 01-07. Hubby took me first time for everything. I enjoyed it until you have to pay $9.00 for a roll 2 second happy birthday. I said really it’s not worth it.

Fast service, great atmosphere food was delish! I ordered green hot tea to drink and the ribeye steak hibachi. Meat was tender and perfectly cooked.

Used to be my favorite place. They’re so racist in there now. I went for their 11-3 lunch at 2:17. The lady said they’re closed. I said your hours say 3, she said we take our last table at 2:30. I said it’s not 2:30. She said after 2, we don’t take anymore. I said every time I come in here, it’s something different especially after I watched them racially profile a group of young boys I was seated with once before.

The food is good and our waitress was fantastic! The only downside is that things are getting into a state of disrepair… faucets in the restrooms falling over, caulk coming apart from the grill and tables everywhere, carpet needs a deep cleaning/replacement, etc. Not a good look.

Service is awful. The lady serving was in a hurry from the very beginning and gave the vibe that she didn’t want my family there. She was nice to the other guests on the table. Mind you, we were the very first customers as they open so it wasn’t busy.
