Stopping halfway between Florida and Illinois on our drive home. We checked into our hotel and looked up “good food near me”. This place came up so we’ve thought Why Not? It’s so great!! Victoria was our server and she was helpful in suggesting good menu ideas. Our margaritas were fantastic. Go here!!!!

We have been here a few times. The food is amazing every time!! Melany was our server the first few times and now a manager. Her service top tier and definitely shows through other servers. Food is definitely flavorful. The drinks omg I got two!!!! Like literally out go to spot. Can’t wait to try their Valentine’s drinks!

TL;DR: 10/10 Go there & have a mind blowing meal. Get the Quesabirria Tacos

Talk about a hidden gem. From the outside, it looks kinda sus, especially because of the highly questionable “corner store” next to it. On the inside, though, it’s lovely! It’s got a modern & clean aesthetic with warm terracotta colors throughout, gorgeous marbled table tops, & cream leather booths. Their menu has a diverse offering, without having a million “combinations” like most Mexican restaurants; it’s just a standard two sided menu. They also have a full bar with a well thought out drink menu. Additionally, like most restaurants, they do offer weekly specials, such as Taco Tuesdays. The prices on the menu were reasonable, appearing to be on par or maybe just a tick higher than your run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurants, but any elevation in price is quickly realized to be worth it once you try the food. Ay dios mío! Every single thing I have had there is phenomenal. I would highly recommend getting their “Quesabirria Tacos”. They are the absolute best tacos I have ever had, & I have had a lot of tacos. If tacos aren’t your thing, their Enchiladas Oaxaqueñas, covered in their house-made mole sauce, are also exceptional. Maybe you’re more into empanadas… well their empanadas are also made fresh, & they will, like the other items I mentioned, make you want to slap your grandma. On our first visit to this business, it was a Saturday night. The restaurant was packed with a very large 20+ person party occupying the bulk of the dining area, but luckily for us, we were still seated within 2 minutes of walking in the door. That night they also had open a side room that had salsa dancing & games. On our second visit, it was a Tuesday night, & the restaurant was still busy, but not overwhelmed. We were seated immediately & served quickly. All of my interactions with the staff & owner (he served us the first night) have been a pleasant experience. Overall, this place being so close to my home means I’m definitely going to have to start working out even harder, so I can keep eating here regularly. Also, sorry about the photo; we were so excited about the food that we started eating & then I remembered I should take a picture.

We love it here! We came in for a late night snack of Queso and Salsa. Music and atmosphere is always upbeat. We saw the beautiful green drink at the bar and had to try it. It’s called “the Grinch” and was delivered in an ornament on a sparkling stand!!! ✨ ✨ Casa Amigos is a hidden gem with great service. Perfect end to our evening.

We found this place while traveling in November. Fantastic clean and friendly place. Menu was different from other Mexican restaurants, which was great. Allowed us to try different things. My wife had the 3 Sopes with chicken. Never have seen this on a menu before. Absolutely delicious. A taste that is so different from any other dish. Highly recommended. I had the chicken Casa Burrito. I have had many burritos but this had great ingredients, all with an avocado in the middle. The chicken had such a great flavor. I added some fajita veggies (from my sister in law’s fajitas) which made the taste even more awesome. My wife got the margarita flight which consisted of Strawberry, Mango, Coconut, and Lime made to perfection.
Bottom line: great time with great food and drink. Don’t pass this place up.

Fantastic restaurant. We came here for a birthday dinner of 4. It has a very nice updated environment. The service and food were excellent. The drinks, exceptional. My only complaint is that I wish we found this place sooner! We’ll definitely be back

I love this place so freaking much the only problem is im going like once a week now. I do wish they had drink specials but I love their Mexican street corn, steak tacos Mexican style, casa bowls, tres leches, and flan. I still have to try the esquites that’s gonna be next time ! Their ceviche is pretty good but it’s in competition with Rico’s nearby as I like it with the crackers Rico’s serves theirs with

Stopped in during our drive through Georgia from Florida after seeing reviews that mentioned authentic and fresh food. We decided to give it a try.

Starting with the positives: service was quick, and our waiter was extremely polite, attentive, and professional.

We ordered the queso with chorizo, a shredded chicken quesadilla, and a shredded chicken burrito for lunch. The food came out in about five minutes, which was impressively fast for made to order items.

Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. The queso had a small scoop of chorizo on top and was mostly greasy, bland, watery, and oily. The rice was very bland and overly soft, almost mushy. The quesadilla had barely any cheese and was filled with a large amount of shredded chicken that was extremely dry and lacked flavor. It appeared to be all chicken breast, which is fine, but it was so dry it had a chalky texture. My boyfriend commented on the same thing.

Presentation was just okay, but overall the food did not live up to the ratings or photos on Google.

Overall, it was an average experience and not what we expected. I would give it 3 out of 5 stars, with two of those stars going to the excellent service from our waiter.

Wonderful and welcoming service and staff! The food is extremely flavorful and fresh. There are items on the menu that are beyond the typical Mexican menu as well. Traditional recipes but perfected for sure! First time I have eaten Mexocan food that I haven’t eaten before. My husband called it best, “it’s like Mexican Soul food.”
