Couldn’t figure out what to do for lunch ,
and I had never been here ,so we stopped..

Service : counter service.
Friendly and patient.
Food 4.5/5. Not impressed with the veggie sides way too much black pepper and just average in general. , Philly was really good very juicy very delicious, chicken wings were chicken wings nothing to complain about there.
Cleanliness :. 4/5. For such an old building it was remarkably in good shape and very clean.. but I’m just not sure when anybody bothered to clean the glass on the front door (ugh, pet peeve)
Atmosphere , bright and clean as mentioned, very cold though.. but you do have the factor in the weather I guess
Ps… They have what I believe to be fried biscuits, they call them hoagies for some reason, but they’re what you get at a Chinese buffet that are covered in sugar. Except not sugared ,but oh my God they’re so good!
I’ll probably be back since it’s closer to the house, but I’ll be back to bubbas as soon as it warms up.

So so good!! I got the shrimp with Mac and cheese and corn, and everything was so good! The shrimp were pretty big compared to other local seafood places and was freshly fried. Will be coming back. They also have oysters and catfish, for much better prices than places like Fisherman’s Wharf. Everything was overall amazing, including the service. Can not say how good this place was, please try it out!

This is the best food in town. Don’t listen to the bad reviews. I’m convinced they are from other restaurant owners in this town trying to make it seem like a bad place. The food has gotten significantly better the last several weeks and the new owners are amazing. They go above and beyond for their customers and this place is their livelihood. They will do whatever it takes to make things right within reason. The quality of the food is so much better now. They really care about the quality of the food and the quality of their customers experience. I’ve even heard they will be extending business hours and revamping the menu soon. Eat here. You will not be disappointed. I’m happy to pay more for the food when I visit now because the food has changed for the better. This will be my first choice evey time I come to Hot Springs.

We went for seafood – my fiancee had the shrimp special (25 pieces) and I had the two pieces of fish with 2 sides special – great prices on both specials!
The deep fried shrimp was very good!!! Not overly battered like it so often is, very tasty.
The fried fish was quite as well – crunchy cornmeal coating.
Great fries, very good coleslaw – fresh and crisp. Red beans & rice very tasty.
“Thumbs up!” Recommend!!

This place is not how it used to be. I ordered a two piece fish dinner and it was not fresh at all. Mac & cheese was sour. I could smell the sour smell as soon as I opened the container. French fries were not cooked all the way. The manager was unpleasant when I called to discuss the matter with him. He replied that this is how they make food now and refused to assist me.
I do not advise dining here, however if you do, be aware that your meal may not be fully cooked.

Large portions, great prices. Fried or grilled has been done perfectly every time I’ve been. Side dishes are high quality and the service was fast and friendly. I recommend the fried oysters if you enjoy oysters. They do them very well here.

Very friendly waitress and was always there to fill my glass when it got low. It was my 1st time eating there and I got the 1/3 burger and fries. My friend had fish and beans and rice plus okra. Burger is so big I couldn’t eat it all. Delicious and was less than $20 for both. I will visit again.
