I was skeptical about sweet tea from a soda dispenser but I had faith and was right. It was surprisingly good. The soda fountain threw me off for a sec there.

Stopped at Sam’s in Selma with our group on a Civil Rights trip! We called ahead and they were totally prepared for our large group. Kind and fast service, and the food was DELICIOUS. Shoutout to Teralyn and Flortasia, they were so sweet and made sure we had everything we need. We’ll definitely be back next time we travel to Selma!

Good food, but understaffed for the lunch hour. The sweet cashier was handling drive through and the front counter. She WAS efficient and very polite. I missed getting her name. The food was fresh and good! We got the hamburger, shrimp po-boy and a grilled chicken salad.

Some good food!!! It has a very big menu!!! What do you want? Multiple types of fish, Multiple types of steak & shrimp i live the crab cakes, lasagna, variety of chicken & hamburgers. This menu is to big to name it all! You get two sides with every meal. There again, too many sides to name but you must try the corn pudding!! The desert menu is also big & it is all only 5.00 for deserts. To name some, Mississippi mud, bread pudding, brownies & ice cream.. . Prices are reasonable!! The owner checks to see if customers are happy. This was my 6th visit & I will be back, lol.

Awesome little restaurant in Selma, Alabama. The service was fast and friendly. The food was amazing! Will definitely be back when I am visiting the area again.

They had a new item, mac & cheese, for $5.99 on the menu that we decided to try on this trip.
We received our order and no mac & cheese, no big deal, we just went back up to the counter to get it. We were handed the smallest styrofoam side dish container I have ever gotten with maybe 1 small ice cream scoop of mac & cheese. And to top it off, it was not flavorful at all. Total waste of $5.99. Photos attached.

First time I ever seen a FLAT omelet! The toast was the best thing on the plate! Grits had no taste whatsoever! Yuck! Whatever you put in those grits….STOP IT! Shrimps, not what I expected, fried too hard and shell was still on! I was literally spitting out the shell! Roughest breakfast I ever had in my life!

Spent the night in Selma on a drive home from Louisiana. I wasn’t impressed with Selma but this place was the one bright spot of the visit. I ordered the catfish fillets and jumbo shrimp combo with two sides. The menu says 6 shrimp but I was given 8. I am a pig but even I struggled to finish it all. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked.
