A clean cozy American diner that serves great breakfast. We had eggs and bacon, and a Porky Pig omelette. Everything was delicious. The wait staff is friendly and experienced. They have excellent coffee.

This diner place serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ordered and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. It was absolutely delicious. I had the sausage gravy biscuits with eggs over medium and sausage links. I loved the sausage gravy it was some of the best I’ve ever had. The sausage links were so tasty. My mother had an omelette served with the hash browns. She said the hash browns were memorably heavenly. I tasted them too and she is so right. Nice crispy flavored outside and tasty potatoes moist on the inside. They really gave a lot of food, we even had leftovers. The wait staff was checking on us periodically to see if we needed anything. They had perfect timed refills.
The restaurant is very clean and organized. The bathrooms were beautifully clean and nice.
We actually marked in our maps that this is going to be a favorite place.

This place, under various names, has been around since I was a kid in Belleville. I love that an old school, non-corporate family restaurant is still in town. I ate breakfast there twice during my quick trip home. My coffee cup was never empty and the food was good. What more can you ask for?

Our server Karen was very friendly and accommodating. The food looked exceptionally good, but very bland unfortunately. I was excited to have a home cooked turkey meal, but it was tasteless. Not impressed and would not eat here again.

Ordered chicken lemon rice soup and a grilled chicken wrap. Waited for a long while, I’d say about 10-15 minutes and the waitress brought my soup out. Then about 5 or so minutes later, brought the food out. I could understand if the place was packed but there was only about 5 or 6 others there. The soup was hot and tasted alright. Same for the wrap and fries, just average.

My wife ordered the cheeseburger. She said it was alright as well. Nothing great, but still decent.

My son ordered the kids Mac and cheese, which he only ate about half of. This does surprise me because like most other kids, he loves Mac and cheese. I took a bite and saw why. It was bland.

I can’t say that we will be returning but if you were ever deciding on trying Sam’s, give it a shot. You might have a better experience.

I have come here several times for breakfast… the food and service is always great & it is not weird dining alone. Never been here for any other meal. Serving sizes are very generous, I needed a box to take the rest home. Prices are very reasonable.

Solid. If nothing else, it was solid. The portions are very large, I could not finish my country fried steak and eggs. This is easily the largest/thickest country fried steak I’ve ever gotten. More than, IHOP, cracker barrel and even Bob Evans. Absolutely massive chunks of sausage in the gravy as well. Service was good, quick and friendly. Overall, high tier experience.

An excellent local small business for decades. Solid value and well cooked breakfast. During breakfast hours the same meal was an even better deal, but still a great breakfast. Perhaps too much bacon, which I never thought I’d say. Eggs ordered scrambled soft and delivered tasty and correct. Bacon was perfect and pancakes were a little gummy.

I’ve been going to this place for years even back before the pandemic when they had that good breakfast special for gosh I can’t remember I think two bucks or something you get the two pieces of bacon and home fries and two eggs and toast yeah how times have changed. But the food still is just as good I got bacon and eggs over medium with home fries and onion and white toast nothing too special about this place but a decent breakfast at an okay price
