The food is always good! Nice little place to eat. Just check your order before you leave if you get it to go. I ordered a bacon mushroom Swiss burger and got just a Swiss burger, but paid for the bacon and mushrooms. Aside from that, not a bad place to eat. This is a hidden gem!!! We have come here every year for years and have never heard of this place. Their menu is American style breakfast and lunch. Such a wide variety of breakfast foods and lunch menu. Prices can’t be beat! We all have come multiple times ordering multiple things and have loved it all… Breakfast and lunch! It is quaint and Waffle House-style where they cook out in the main area. Waitresses have been Southern sweethearts. Not great for large parties unless you are willing to be split up, but they do have two larger tables, but they are usually full unless you’re willing to wait. It is a must stop!

Saw this place when grabbing coffee from Dunkin. Took the family and enjoyed breakfast. The restaurant gave an at home kind of vibe. My children age 10 and 4 enjoyed their breakfast. You get a lot of food for what you pay and it’s fresh and hot as well. Our waiter was very attentive to us and checked in often. Overall great family experience and plan to visit before heading back home.

Breakfast was good but the grits were a little weird and the pancakes were a bit rubbery. The omelet I ordered was done perfectly with fresh ingredients. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food we got.

As soon as I walked in, I knew it was going to be a good breakfast. Granted, the atmosphere is very basic but that’s what makes it great. Several locals were already eating and more came in as I ate my breakfast. I ordered the Shaggers Special which is 3 eggs, sausage or bacon, grits or hash browns & 2 pancakes or toast. Food was great. It’s hard to mess up breakfast – right but what makes this place is the service. Waitresses are friendly and I believe the owner Sam was the cook. Don’t think any place can beat their prices either. As I left, I asked my waitress how long they have been at NMB and she said 17 years. My family and I have been to North Myrtle for 40 plus years and I’m glad I have a new place to get breakfast when we visit. Can’t wait to try their lunch next.

This place is where the locals go. I know because the waitress’ know everyone’s name. I don’t want to give this a good review because I don’t want it to get filled up so I can’t get a seat, but this is the best breakfast I’ve had in Myrtle. The prices are very good, the service is exceptional, and the food is actually cooked by Sam. It’s soo good! If you like country ham this is the place for you.
