Sam’s was great when I walked in an employee came out of the kitchen to greet me and get my order. He was friendly and to the point. I ordered the any 8″ sub Lunch Special that includes Seasoned fries or chips and a canned soda for $9.99. It was Steak & Cheese with lettuce, tomato, fried onions and mayo, seasoned fries and a 14 oz fountain soda. Cost me all of (Drum Roll please?)….$11.12. He brought the sub Special to my table Hot and Fresh. The flavors were perfect . Will be going again next week for Lunchtime. Oh yeah they have 2 LG 1 topping pizzas and 10 wings for $25 Bucks.

I was a big fan of this location from the times I had gone there for pick-up orders, so my wife and I decided to start ordering delivery about 3 months back, the most recent time being two weeks ago. And THAT was what changed my opinion of this site.
I’ve eaten at multiple Sam’s locations over the years and I’ll say right now: the food is great, the value for your money is awesome, and I’ve never had a bad experience picking up food. However, out of the three times we’ve been delivered from this location, not a single order was a good experience service/delivery-wise.
Delivery number one: ordered at around 6:40PM and told the food would arrive around 7:20/7:30. Our food didn’t arrive until 8:00 (for context, even with traffic, our house is just about 15 minutes from the shop).
Delivery number two: ordered around 6:00PM and told the food would arrive around 6:45PM. After multiple phone calls trying to find out where the food was at, we were told that the site NEVER made our food and that they had accidentally skipped over the order. The MOD apologized and said he would personally bring us our food, but was unable to offer any discount or anything for the inconvenience. Once again: food arrived around 8PM.
Final delivery (and I do mean “final”; we’ll be looking elsewhere for pizza delivery going forward): ordered right around 6:30PM with an ETA around 7:30PM. Same issues: called, checked on status, they claimed they couldn’t find the order, then claimed that had to make the order, then claimed the tech would be out on time, eventually we ate dinner at 8:30PM. When my wife called the store a final time to complain to the manager or owner, a rude woman at the site claimed that “that’s ME!” and proceeded to be ZERO help with our issue, giving her the excuse that “the website says that every order will be done under an hour; we can’t update it so your order had to take longer” (nobody called us to notify us of any of that, whether it was true or not. Considering they told us they had LOST our order…I’m guessing not…).
I loved the food, but it’s not worth it for service like that. Not even close.

I’m from Brooklyn so I have to say it’s definitely Virginia Pizza. But it’s a mom and pop shop. I’m all about supporting the little guy. I’ve gotten food from there on multiple occasions. I love the sandwich selections. I really love the people. The set up inside the store allows you to eat in but the take out is the way to go.

I made an online order for two steak and cheese sub sandwiches with provolone cheese. They put marina sauce with provolone on the steak and cheese and refused to fix it after spending $40 . Money wasted and food not ate. The owner was extremely rude. Do not recommend.

The service was so exceptional and so kind! The staff was super accommodating to my kids and made us feel so welcome. The lunch specials are such a great deal, the food was great! We had a pepperoni pizza and the steak and cheese sub both were so great! I really enjoyed eating here and will definitely be coming back!

I dined in on some excellent wings and onion rings. Ordered the buy one pizza get one free deal and brought that home for dinner and lunch the next day. I love this place. The owner is like a friend feeding you. The place is small and clean, neatly organized and friendly.

Doesn’t deserve a star! So I decided to give this place another shot and the manager is horrible! Ordered 20mins prior and the claimed they never got order even tho I knew exactly how much it was and who I spoke with! Thier excuse was the paper was out in the kitchen ! So now it’s gonna take forever to get my money back and I will never order from there again!
