A simple pizza place located in Union City. We’ve been there to dine in on a Friday’s evening. They offer a few choice of pizzas, but many other plates. We’ve tried the Sam’s Supreme, and it was a good choice. The indoor was very hot – I know, there in an oven there – but there are a few tables outside. Staff was polite to explain to us about the pizza. Not a bad place at all, only simple.

I tried this place because it was the closest to my hotel and I got lucky! The pizza was amazing and exactly how I was hoping it would taste given the area. Had some cool NYC vibes inside. Great pizza and cool area to explore. Parking was very hard though.

Just picked up some garlic knots and they smelled like an old pair of socks. Was just tellin my girlfriend I just wasted my money on some garlic socks :/. Taste as bad as they smell. So does the sauce that comes with it. Pizza is not that great either. Never again.

This is just our personal opinion. the taste was below average, and I didn’t really enjoy the service either. It feels like they already have their own regular customers and aren’t too interested in new ones. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a good experience, so I wouldn’t go back or recommend this place.

Sam’s is a local place near the Air BnB I stayed at in North Bergen. I ordered online for pickup and received 5% off. They were busy on a Friday night but fast. The calzone I ordered was HUGE, big enough for 2-3 people easy. I also ordered spaghetti & meatballs and a grilled chicken caesar salad. The spaghetti was a good portion with plenty of meatballs and the salad came with plenty of chicken. The dressing was also delicious, slightly lemony and not at all fishy tasting. We also had a cannoli and an amazingly delicious perfect sized tiramisu. Very good prices for the portion sizes. Great local place!
