Store front is not pretty to look at and located at a busy intersection, but the food is great. The pizza rivals that of Primos in SF and Bronco Billy’s in Fremont.
I only gave it a 3 star because the Italian Sausage wasn’t fresh and the chicken Teriyaki was a bit overcooked to the point where it was so dry I had to douse it with sauce.
The pizza crust was cooked to perfection surviving the 15 min ride home and it was still crispy, can hold the weight of the abundant toppings.

On October 3rd, 2025, I walked in to Sam’s Pizza & More in Stockton, CA. I ordered a personal pizza for one, which cost $6.50. The 18-year-old young man took my order and charged me $7.00. I asked why, and he said that there is a fifty cent charge for using a Debit Card. I said I would have paid cash had he told me so. He said, “Oh, well.” I waited for my pizza for 25 minutes and had to leave for another appointment. The young man refused to give me a refund and said, “Just wait a little longer.” I said that 5 other customers were helped in that time, and I was the only one waiting. I said I must go, and the young man said, “Then we keep your money and we keep your pizza. So there.” I left the restaurant and the store later refused to reimburse me, as well. I will never return to Sam’s Pizza & More, nor should you.

Very poor customer service and here is the reason. When my daughter paid she was told 8 min and order would be ready. She went back to buy water and kindly asked if the order was ready by any chance, the employee sighed gave her the water and just shut the window. We waited a bit longer, I then went to ask the order was ready, same employee, seemed irritated and went to the back without saying anything. She returned and said here’s your pizza I kindly said thank you and she just slammed the window. I understand that businesses get busy and I don’t have a problem waiting given the right wait times. We got our order at 5:40 or 5:41, that was not 8min and no reason for employee to be unprofessional.
Honestly it’s the first time I’ve experienced this and I don’t recall having an interaction with this specific employee. It’s sad because I had enjoyed coming here for a while until today.

Been going to Sam’s for years.. The Pizza has been outstanding especially at the price, but last night I ordered a large pepperoni and it was NOT the Sam’s pizza I am familiar with. The crust as well as toppings seemed like it was cheap and store bought. It reminded me of the other local budget fast in fast out pizza shops. I hope this is not the new Sam’s pizza to be expected in the future as this was not tasty at all. I do enjoy the other items on the menu and the prices are fair and reasonable. If the pizza returns to the way it was like the pictures others have posted.. I will start ordering it again and write a new review.

I have been here for many years but never ate their food I found out their food is excellent chicken nuggets are fresh and very tasty chicken wings are the best I’ve tasted around here at all Pizza is not bad at all either very tasty I’m going to have to try the rest of the menu keep up the good work and you’ll get five stars on me every time I recommend this place
