Stumbled across this gem on a trip to visit friends in Winston-Salem. Pulled up not knowing exactly what to expect but came away with a fantastic experience. The employees were as friendly as could be and the selection of flavors was huge. We LOVED our ice cream, which we enjoyed while watching the sunset from the outdoor dining area. This place was just one of life’s amazing little surprises.

Located on a main road this stand alone brick and mortar ice cream shop is truly a gem. From Sundaes, floats, cones, etc., there is something for everyone. You can order at the window and sit at one of the benches behind the building or go to the drive thru and enjoy on your way home. Staff is friendly and efficient and eager to help you. It’s a chill atmosphere where you can cool down on a hot day. If you are in the area go treat yourself!

Edit: I originally gave this ice cream shop 1 star because of spam emails I was receiving after making a purchase here. After some investigation, this was not their fault and the blame lies more on the card processor. I was able to jump through some hoops and opt out of this third party sharing feature through the card processor. This is a new common practice and again, not Sam’s fault.

Very good ices, takes a little long to get your icecream because many people come to this place. The flavors are many. Good to bring your kids. There’s no place to sit if you’re planning on hanging out, you can stand or eat inside your vehicle.

OMG. Best ice cream in 100 miles! LOL. I love coming here to get my favorite pistachio ice cream. My daughter always gets her strawberry cheesecake… YUMMY!!! I’d come here every day if I could and twice on Sunday!!!
