Sam’s has been in my life for 55 years now. Tofick and Freda (my grandparents) spoiled us rotten with Sam’s goodies when we’d visit. I just visited last weekend for the first in a long time. The maneesh (sorry for the Americanized spelling) are amazing. Still the best ever. The meatpies are also very good (although I have to admit that I like my wife’s a little more).

Does anyone who is native to the city offer less than 5 stars? Its truly a gem of Fall River. I really appreciated this place much more when I was living in the Carolinas- try finding those triangle gems of delicious meat pies down there! For those who are unfamiliar with Sam’s, it’s not a sit down restaurant. It’s a bakery Lebanese/ Syrian that you order and go- your in and out.

Spinach Pies, Meat Pies and Cabbage Pies are amazing. Best Hummus. And chips outside of the Gulf Region. Staff is super cool and friendly ! We drive over 2 hours from CT to stock up. It is so very worth the drive. Thank you so very much. Never change

I don’t know what happened to the recipe but the spice is a little bit too much to tolerate I don’t know why it’s changed so much I’ve had Sam’s bakery my entire life .it was too much Savory Spice couldn’t even taste meat product that was inside it was way too seasoned .I usually finish them all and I still have two of them sitting in the fridge .

Very consistent food and always fresh. They do a great job getting people in and out as quick as possible during peak times. A staple in the fall river area that you have to go to at least once. Nothing fancy just good, fresh food.

I decided to stop by Sam’s at the recommendation of a coworker from Fall River, and WOW, the Levantine food here is amazing! The open cheese and menich are a hundred times better (and way cheaper) than anything from a fast food joint. Will definitely be visiting from New Bedford again.

This place serves outstanding food at incredible value – it is worth the trip. The spinach pie was my favorite, the lemony filling and soft, chewy bread were perfect. We tried a large assortment of items (meat pie with cheese, open-faced spinach with cheese, cabbage bread, sesame bread, chourico pie, and spinach pie), and every one was delicious. I look forward to coming back.
