Second time here. I must confess I don’t drink and didn’t gamble; I came solely to eat.
Service is to notch and it’s a good place to watch a game; I was here during the NFL playoffs. Although I don’t care about sports great chance to get a bite, have some drinks and watch a game..
Did I mention they have have happy hour 7 days a week, 3 to 6..

Sammy’s Restaurant & Bar has a variety of foods on their menu which my little family can appreciate. My 12 year old loves the Pho. My 2 year old loves the Truffle Fries. My husband likes the Pizza (either hawaiin or Pepperoni) & I love their Duck tacos. The Salt & Pepper wings are good but in my experience they over seasoned them with the Red pepper flakes which made them unshareable. We usually walk right in to whatever seats or booths are open. Overall service isn’t super terrible but we normally get a drink or two from the bar and usually wait a while to actually get the drinks. Definitely check the happy hour if you want to try some of their food items at a discount. Atmosphere wise it’s tucked away enough from the casino to not feel super weird we are having dinner with kids. Overall the place is really nice. They now have an indoor golf simulator. We will surely come back.

We came here for lunch. The service was very good. It has an interesting menu with different cuisines on the menu.
The food was ok. Nothing mind blowing. I had a salad with salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly, although a bit salty. The salad itself was boring, but fresh.
The area is full of TVs so sports is the name of the game. All in all, not bad.

Came for happy hour. Food is not as good as it used to be. The batter on the chicken strips was lacking flavor. The pizza also lacked flavor and was a soggy mess. Service was top notch.

I was not happy with the service or the food at this restaurant/gambling hall. We stood at the entrance for some time before being seated.. our waitress disappeared for awhile before taking our order.. our food didn’t take that long to get to our table but the food was extremely bland. The exception was the “waygu” burger.. that was tasty. But even so, the burger was $20 and my short rib plate was $18.. total rip off. A BLT was the same price as the short rib plate. If you look at their menu online, you won’t find any prices. There’s a reason for that. Overpriced, bland food being served poorly. Save your money.

We ate in the dining area and was promptly greeted and promptly served. Their drinks included San Pelligrino from a glass bottle which was a plus. I understand the push to get folks to dine while gambling by having a (35%? I forget) substantial discount vs sitting down and eating but I would suggest either pushing prices up a little higher to serve very high quality ingredients or pushing prices down and dropping the ‘farm fresh local high quality’ vibe. As an example, the Mongolian beef bowl was good but for $30 after tax and tip the meat slices should not be small, thin, and tough.

Where else can you get late night Pizza, Pho and Ramen in Sac? This is the place. We were looking for a place to eat at 12:30 am coming in from SFO so we chanced upon this place and the food and beer was awesome. Excellent service from Morgan who made sure we were taken care of. We would definitely come back.

Service was friendly and attentive, not quick, but we weren’t in a hurry and were allowed to comfortably visit while eating. Food was pleasing and flavorful. So far, everything we’ve tried on their menu has been delicious. They do offer a full menu late night (in case breakfast is desired).
