This was my first time at Sammy’s Burgers. I ordered the Jalapeño Jack burger with tater tots. My burger was made fresh to order with high-quality ingredients, cooked to perfection (juicy and hot), and served on a toasted bun
which I love. I felt like I was back home at a family picnic. Needless to say, my food was delicious, plentiful, and served by lovely, cheerful people. Payments accepted by cash and cards. Bathroom available for customers. Next time you’re in the mood for a homemade burger, go to Sammy’s Burgers and Shakes; you won’t be disappointed.

Soo I usually have a great experience here with good food. But these mushrooms are old and black!!! They usually are fresher with a nice bite to them. These were mushy and black. Never seen them serve food like this. I did notice a young cook. But that’s no excuse.

An old school diner type cafe. Open 24 hours! Food is fresh, plentiful and a heck of a deal. I got the $10 steakhouse burger combo, which included a smashburger piled high with toppings a huge order of home made jojos and a soda. Decor is a bit funky but people are great and the food is tasty.

This is the second time dining here at Sammy’s. My first experience was late night, my roommate and I stumbled upon this gem by chance (burger king was closed). We were welcomed by an energetic man who walked us through the menu and ordering not trying to upsale asking us what our hunger level was. He came to the table twice just at the right moment accompanied with good jokes. He said we would be back and not even a week later on Saturday afternoon we walked in and a friendly FOH staff member Amanda greeted us promptly with a smile although she was clearly quite busy, she said she would be right with us and after a few minutes my roommate and I had decided, our orders were taken quickly .Amanda is a standout employee she worked the FOH and BOH with a swamped dining room. I’ve worked in this industry for sometime from white glove restaurants to cruise ships she is someone who we call swiss army knives. I had the cowboy burger which I enjoyed and he had the Bacon and Guac burger. We will be back and have told our roommates Thank you Amanda! (Love Married With Children Playing on the TV each time brings me to my youth) THANK YOU!

I drove past this on the way to an appointment and was very excited to try it. The woman with the long hair was very cool and calm but very obviously being overworked. I felt bad for her. She said she was normally a cook and was called into work. The place was packed inside. She was great. Prices are super reasonable. I got the special of the day which was a tri tip burger and onion rings. Its not fast food so dont expect that when coming here. I think this place has some true potential to be a great burger shop with some minor changes. I wanted to like the onion rings so badly, but I couldn’t eat them. Their oil needs to be changed more frequently and they were definitely overcooked. It tasted stale and burned without the appearance of it. The steak on the burger was delicious but the actual patty lacked flavor. It wasnt seasoned at all and just tasted like a frozen patty thrown on the flat top. Ill definitely try again but I think small changes like this could help elevate customer satisfaction tremendously!

This is a pic of the guac burger and onion rings. We thought we would finally try this place… 4 people running the place… Yes they were very kind. But the food is not good. It really isn’t worth the time or the money. Boxes everywhere unopened and unpacked . The people running the place seemed like they might be on something lol interesting environment … I asked my boyfriend… he agrees horrible and won’t be going back. Just gross tbh.

8/02/25: My first time here I love the outside view of the restaurant. The inside looks like from back in the days 70s/80s/90s joint or something! Reminds me of a Mom & Pop joint
There’s lots of selections of food to choose from. Burgers, chicken, shakes, desserts, etc. See menu. Opens 24/7!
– My son is very picky when it comes to chicken tenders (strips) However he told me the chicken tenders tasted very good! I was very pleased to hear that!
– The apple fries was delicious! Reminds me of apple pie but the fried version
– The pig in the blanket has sausage in the middle. I find it simple and delicious
– The shakes were delicious!
– My first time trying fried Twinkie…very interesting!
– The Shroom N Swiss burger (mushroom and Swiss) was good . I should have asked them to add tomatoes
In terms of cleanliness inside the restaurant and restroom–could be better. There were minor details that needed attention but the staffs are aware of it.
– Plenty of free parking.
– TV playing kid’s cartoon–Dexter’s Laboratory. I watched that back in the days. Brings back memories
– More customers came in one after another. Happy vibe
Still gave 5 stars. The minor issues, I believe will be fixed or addressed soon.

I used to come to this restaurant under its last two names. It’s now a burger joint. It’s 24 hours, which is great. I had the swiss hroom burger. It was ok. The french fies need help. Didn’t eat most of them. The menu is simple, which is good. Will try again at a different time of day.

I don’t really have a strong opinion on the food I only got a milkshake huckleberry they have the most milkshakes flavors I’ve ever seen available anywhere anytime my life I think they’re about 40 or 50 of them. They would go great with food the huckleberry I had was a little lacking in the flavor though unfortunately. Only five bucks for the milkshakes though so that’s pretty good as well.
Still fantastic late night spot to eat hard to beat very hard to be late at night.
