Stopped by for a Monday lunch. Everything was great from service, to food, to atmosphere.
Fried pickles were excellent. I loved the spears instead of chips. The ranch was so so good and thick. Lunch portion of catfish with hush puppies, corn nuggets, and onion rings were great. Wasnt much of fan of the batter on the onion rings, but was overall ok. The chicken fried steak plate with fries and white gravy was great. Lots of good flavor and home cooked perfection.
Despite it being a bit busy with the lunch crowd, our server was really nice and on top of it. The food came out quickly and hot. We had zero complaints and will be back to try other things!

Delicious BBQ brisket, jalapeno cheese sausage, and smoked turkey. I ordered the trio of meats and was not disappointed by the selection I got. I ordered some spicy BBQ sauce and it was very flavorful and had a little punch to it. For dessert I had some of the best banana pudding I have ever had, the crunch from the wafer with the bananas was incredible. Plenty of seating availble. Staff were extremely helpful and happy to work with. Military discount was available. I will definitely come back here next time I’m in town.

The food was tasty. We went for the Thursday special. The Brisket Quesadilla was very delicious, unfortunately the two sides were small, especially the pinto beans came out in a teeny tiny salsa cup. Come guys! How much money can you lose on beans?

We tried this place one night for dinner. We were greeted right away. We were seated and our drink orders were taken. The server Kelsi was outstanding, gave us great recommendations. We ordered some Bar-B-Que, Fried Pickles with Onion Rings and Green Beans. Everything was delicious, they have specials every week night and happy hour every day. The specials are fantastic, most of the items are made in house. We have tried quite a few items on the menu and have not found one thing we did not like. The service her makes you feel like your at someone’s home. If you have an issue the owner is usually there and will make it right for you. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms.

The waiter was great!! The food is amazing! The owner was super friendly! I plan on returning to try the catfish next. The BarBQ brisket was on point. I absolutely enjoyed my Sunday lunch.

Service was friendly and attentive. My 11 year old said his burger was good. The pinto beans were delicious, the best part of my meal. The ribs were pretty good. The brisket was nothing special. The chicken was very, very, dry. One member of our party couldn’t handle the noise of karaoke night and waited in the car while the rest of us finished eating.

It is hard for me to drop five stars anywhere, but especially at a barbecue joint. However, this place was fantastic. The brisket was moist, with a great smoke ring and just bursting with flavor from the Applewood blend used to smoke the meats. The ribs practically fell off the bone and leapt into your mouth. The ribs had a crisp, sharp bark but were tender and moist throughout and packed with flavor as well. The sides were pretty damn good too. The potato salad and coleslaw were spot on, but the pinto beans knocked it out of the park.
The bar/restaurant is a small, quaint location with and almost family like atmosphere and the employees were wonderfully engaging. The food came out fast and did not disappoint.
If you find yourself in Rowelett with and empty stomach, you should definitely stop here.

Picked up barbecue for the family before Christmas and it was ready within 20 minutes!! The sliced brisket and pulled pork were both delicious. Spicy sauce was very good and not too spicy. Mild sauce tasted more savory/mustard based instead of sweet, which I enjoyed. Staff was all very friendly as well!!
