Food was perfect. Had a burger and it was made right and was extremely tasty, fries were cooked perfectly. Service was impressive, handled our 20+ group quickly and had plenty of seating area. Parking lot is ample, even for the 45 foot bus we brought.

Plenty of parking. Great, historic place. Old school seating throughout. Beef doesn’t have the same flavor as I prefer, but the sausage in the combo made up for it. Garlic bread is not an option here for your beef. Fries are short and stubby, so hard time dipping in cheese. Gyros are loaded and everyone enjoyed them!

Being a City kid with Gene and Judes and Jimmy’s. Sammie’s was the closest I could get to a real Chicago Hot dog … they should switch over to Fresh cut fries opposed to those Nasty greasy frozen fries. Other than that Sammie’s was a real outta the city treat… just please consider switching to Fresh cut fries . I promise your French fry sales will definitely increase. Thanks Sammies for being an outta the city Gem

Delicious amazing everything we tried was outstanding no complaints plenty of parking! We had a double burger, gyro and onion rings onion rings with the bbq and honey mustard was outstanding definitely coming back to try more of their items on their menu!

Traditional Chicago grill food done right. Sammie’s has been a local favorite for a long time now and they never fail to please.
Always great tasting food with reasonable prices and friendly customer service in an always clean/sanitized cozy venue.
Regardless of location, don’t know what it is but Sammie’s has always stood out from your typical Chicago grill and is closer to the top over most I’ve been to.
They keep servin’ up that delicious grub with a smile and this guy will keep coming back for more.

Sammie in Grayslake is a great, quick stop joint. Friendly, fast service and the gyro plate doesn’t disappoint. Fries are thick-cut crinkle and the help yourself soda dispenser makes refills easy.
