Great stop for smoked meats and home cooked sides. Serving is food truck style. Ordered The Meathouse. Brisket, pork and bacon. Awesome!

Small, country-style place, similar to a food truck in the city. Served out of a small trailer. Pulled pork was delicious! Pasta salad was great, but the portion size was a bit small for the price. Nice selection of food on the menu. Looking forward to my next visit!

It was delicious. Would post a picture… but i already ate it!! Super fast. Wife got a half rack of ribs. I got the Meathouse. Which is a sandwich of pulled pork and brisket topped with bacon. Man it was amazing! Got slaw, party girl potatoes and brisket mac n cheese. All VERY good! Guy was nice! Service was fast!

Aaaa-mazing!! The party girl potatoes will change your life!! The Mac and cheese is also excellent! Very fresh. Took it to go and drove about 10 minutes. When we got home and were waiting the food was still very hot. Great service and food.

I was in Hillsboro for business and stopped by for a quick lunch. Don’t let the appearance fool you, this was one was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had, EVER. I had the smoked chx with bacon & ranch and it was flavorful, tender and full of awesomeness. I also had the party girl potatoes. Men shouldn’t be turned off by the name because they are a very good variant of cheesy potatoes.

Mediocre overpriced food. Pulled pork was very greasy, same for the brisket. Potato salad tasted store bought, nothing special. Cheesy potatoes were okay, Mac and Cheese was nothing to write home about. Was not sure beforehand what to expect from a ‘food truck’ made out of a converted camping trailer. I know I won’t be back unless there’s a major overhaul of the menu. Wish I had better things to say about them but I just don’t.

Great prices, very good smoked meat and good sauces. There are many full-blown sit-down BBQ restaurants in the St.Louis area that can’t get the basics right, but Sammich Shack nails it.

I’ve wanted to hit this place on numerous occasions but it’s been closed. Driving by yesterday, I was happy to find it open. I really didn’t know what to expect to come out of the tiny trailer parked in a roadside lot, but I took their suggestions of Hillsboro’s Favorite Pulled Pork sammich, and 1/4 slab of TaDie For Baby Back Ribs. Also took advantage of the Suppertime Meal Deal and got 2 sides for each. Again ordered their suggested Summertime Pasta Salad, Brisket mac ‘n cheese, and the Party Girl Potatoes.
