Stopped in on a Saturday for an early dinner. Started off with the cheddar poppers- not impressed, tasted like the ones you buy at Sam’s. I ordered the fish, shrimp and crab cakes. Fish and shrimp were excellent- flavorful breading and cooked perfectly. Crab cakes tasted like imitation meat. I told the waitress and she said these are purchased frozen, then heated. So, while I wouldn’t order those again, the rest of the combo was excellent. Hubs got the chopped brisket sandwich and said that it was good. Fried cherry pie was also excellent. Made fresh and cooked right. Done, but not tough and filled with cherries.

If you want the best of the best food and everything in Sapulpa OK, go here. This is my first time eating their food and it is off the chain. If you like chicken livers and gizzards, go here. And their red beans and rice…just WOW! Thank you for the amazing experience!

I thought much about this review before posting. My husband and I love the burgers at Sami’s. We get an order to go weekly, he works at the glass plant and grabs the order after work.
However, last Saturday (4/20/24) we ordered the house special for a change. The food was disgusting, inedible, and made my husband sick!
I’m posting pictures of the inedible mess we received in our to go order. Is it just the weekend crew? Or is it that anything but the burger is bad? Hubby had red beans and rice, the cinnamon was strong they were inedible. We were able to eat the coleslaw.
We may never be back.

Some of the best fried fish, shrimp and hushpuppies iv had. The sauces are awsome. The menu is very large with so much to choose from. Sea food to bbq they got it with great side options. Prices are as fair as anyone. Will definitely be going back!

And we love it it’s close to our home so we do come here often and pick up our lunch the girls are always fantastic super nice and whoever’s back there cooking the food is doing it right it’s always hot fresh and delicious it’s what we order every time

This place has some of the best affordable food for to go. All home style and freshly made. My husband and I come here often for to go orders. The food is always one point. The only complaint I have is the order is always a bit messed up. We’ve had to check out for before we leave and nine times out of ten we always have to tell them they forgot something or another. They always make it right though with little to no issues. Overall this place is beyond worth it for flavor and home cooked food nostalgia. They also always refill your drink if you happen to drink it all while waiting for your food in the lobby. Definitely check it out and give it a chance!

If you haven’t tried Sami’s Southern Kitchen & More yet, well why not? Yes it looks like and tastes like what we have seen up on the hill but this Sami’s has so much more. I didn’t find the new lunch menu on the website but happened to drive by and it caught my eye on the $9.99 lunch Speacials. Sami’s has several items to choose from on their lunch menu. My guest and I ordered the lunch specials, I got the 6 jumbo shrimp with one side of fries and my guest got the 1 fish, 1 chicken and 2 shrimp with one side of fries. Both were $9.99 and $2.49 for the drink for a grand total of $28 taxes. You can get it fried or grilled and his offerings at this location is far more than what we used to seeing. I wish I had taken a shot of the lunch menu but you’ll have to go check it out yourself. The man himself brought out a sampling of his gumbo, it’s a little to warm for me to eat gumbo but it was tasty and it’s on the lunch menu too. Highly recommend Sami’s Southern Kitchen & More.

Best waitress we’ve had anywhere in a long time! Family fish dinner fed two adults and two kids easily. Sides were not our cup of tea but the kiddos loved the French fry’s. Will definitely go back.

You peeps from Oklahoma must have low standards when it comes to dining giving this place 4.4 stars.
Gumbo has a very strong curry smell and taste, almost no meat inside of it. Maybe 4 tiny pieces and 95% rice! Doesn’t even taste like gumbo !
Catfish was greasy and the fried shrimp was burnt ! ( breading )
Spent 28.00$ without tip on a cup of gumbo, 2 shrimp , 3 catfish and fries ! Waste of money !!!
