Aladdin’s Eatery Columbus has some seriously good vegan options. We had the lentil soup. Spicy cauliflower, falafel pizza and falafel rolled pita and… wait for it… vegan pistachio baklava… chef kiss

Really enjoyed the Farmer’s Pitza and the wonderful chocolate cake, but all the servers we have had over multiple trips have been so friendly and efficient.

This was our first time at Aladdin’s and I will say that we for sure enjoyed all of our food. The restaurant was not busy and our server forgot about us multiple times so I had to ding them for that. The food however was a solid 8.5/10. The thing holding it back was the level of doneness of the beef kabob and the chicken was just a little bland. That being said, if I had only had the appetizer, salad, dressing, lamb wrap, and the kafta, we would be sitting at damn near a 10. The Kafta was my favorite thing that I tried and I will be ordering that again. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for Mediterranean.

I tried this place out for the first time during restaurant week for their $20 3-course take out deal. Overall, my experience was good and the employees were extremely nice! The baba and tiramisu were great!! The beef shawarma and rice/veggies & pita bread didn’t taste the most fresh or flavorful. I’d be interested to try the restaurant again for dine-in.

Falafel for all…

To be honest this was our second choice for dinner. Our first choice was closed for family vacation. Being in the mood for hummus and falafel we walked down the block for Aladdin’s.

The menu is a little bit of a book which proclaims over 40 vegetarian options. Props to them for going above and beyond to identify all the different diets they cater to. I ordered a small humus and falafel to start. The falafel was delicious served with their lemon tahini dressing. Recommend. I think there might be as many hummus recipes as there are restaurants. Aladdin’s is smooth, creamy, and has a whipped consistency. Flavor leans towards lemon and away from sesame. I ordered the Aladdin’s favorite combo which came with a beef kafta, shish kabob, and shish tawook on a bed of
rice with vermicelli for $18.95. Because the combos ranged in price from 12.95 to $20 I expected a plate with kabob hanging off the sides. Unfortunately the portion was smaller than I expected, but honestly it was enough food for me. I do with I would have orders the hummus shawarma plate. I think I would have enjoyed it more.

My wife got a salad and the vegetarian combo appetizer as her entree. It was a great value with hummus, baba gannouj, tabouli, falafel, and stuffed grape leaves for $9.95 (online the price is $15.95 still a good value).

Our service was great and they have a nice outdoor seating area. The inside dinner area is pretty plain with no regional decor.

Give Aladdin’s a try.

Our server Dillon, was so nice. She offered to give us a tour of the deserts so we could know which was which cheesecake. The only thing I would change was my burrito fell apart but I was still good. I love it and will come again.

We sat outside on a nice summer evening for a family dinner. It was a nice experience, the hostess accommodated us wanting an outside table, the waitress was prompt and the food was really delicious. We each got a different item and everyone’s food was super tasty. I got the flavor savor special.

My favorite dish at Alladin’s Eatery is the “Flavor Savor Special plate. While always wonderful, today’s plate was exceptional: sausages and chicken were cooked to perfection … juicy and not overcooked in the least!
