My colleague and I had dinner at Samba Steakhouse in Philadelphia on a Monday evening around 6, and it was fantastic! We were the only guests for about the first 30 minutes, which made it feel like a private dining experience. The service was wonderful—attentive, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of perfectly cooked meats. We got so full we couldn’t even make it through all the options! I ordered a lemonade expecting the usual pink Minute Maid, but whatever they served was so much better—fresh, flavorful, and totally unexpected. I’d absolutely dine here again the next time I’m in town!

I loved Picanha, so I was excited to try Samba. Sadly very disappointed. The meat quality and flavor were not nearly as good as Picanha’s, very chewy and no nicer cuts. Service was horrible, our waiter sat us and filled our water once and then we had to get up and find someone when we were ready for the check, and we almost missed our train with how long it took. The buffet options were cold, unlabeled, and not great. The only decent things were the drinks. Don’t waste your money or time.

The service here could use some improvement point blank. The food options were satisfactory. They had about 4-5 beef options a bacon wrapped chicken and sausage. The flank steak was best beef, everything is seasoned well. The tossed salad tres leches, and cinnamon pineapple were the best non meat options. I would consider returning but not my favorite steakhouse.

Saw they had a great deal on Groupon and I was shocked at how delicious the food was, everything was super flavorful and fresh. The servers were amazing very friendly and the host even gave my husband and me a complementary cup of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. Loved the whole experience! I highly recommend! Looking forward to going back!

I celebrated my last birthday here. I hosted a dinner party of 20 people. I was able to book the private room without any deposit. The manager Leticia was extremely kind and helpful. I was able to come in earlier to decorate the private room for my dinner party. I enjoyed having my dinner party at Samba. The food options were amazing and the food tasted great! Thank you again to Leticia and the crew for making my birthday dinner amazing with your hospitality and awesome customer service.

Thought it be a nice place by the reviews and ive been too other Brazilian steakhouse and this one’s a no a go. Food at the buffet was cold chicken was ok and one other steak but not worth the hype. It was a Saturday evening with reservations nobody was there and the waiters and service wasnt great. There was a language barrier with the servers and waiters and nothing was labeled on food and what you were getting. Very small portions. Reminds of a golden coral. We wont be back nothing special here.

The food was fantastic but the service was horrible. Went during restaurant week so I expected it to be a little more hectic than usual. We were sat down fairly quick but nobody came to our table to tell us anything or take our drink order. I had been here before when it was called Picanha so I already had an idea on how it worked. Went and got food from the salad bar. Loved the salad bar, they had an assortment of hot food and it was delicious! Sat down and someone came right away to offer us rodizio and that’s when we realized that we didn’t have utensils. He went himself and got us some. We asked someone from the waitstaff for some water 3 times and nothing. Another one of the men walking around offering rodizio noticed that we didn’t have water and went and told someone and we finally got some water. Had to stop someone else from the waitstaff to order regular drinks because no one stopped by to take our drink order. We had to ask for our check because no one stopped by to give it to us. We also ended up just going to the bar to pay because no one stopped by to pick it up and they told us that they were gonna get our waiter to pick it up but we never even knew who our waiter was.
Overall this place has a lot of potential with the food but the service definitely needs some work.

Went here for my boyfriend’s birthday and wow! The food is actually incredible and the service was 10/10. They also gave a compliment desert at the end which was cute. Definitely recommend this place for anything from a romantic dinner to even a big family event.

This place is such an amazing restaurant. The atmosphere is tranquil and peaceful, the food is immaculate. All the meat is cooked perfectly and the waiters come out at the perfect times, the drinks are amazing as well. They have a wonderful array of sides that really compliment the meat. This is the first restaurant I’ve ever been to where THE OWNER personally comes out to see if everything is going good and up to par. they have a signature shot that was simply amazing. I came here for my birthday and I must say they made it a perfect way to celebrate. Highly recommend 10/10
