We(3 person) visited Samarkand Cafe and had a great experience. We ordered lagman, samsa, salad, tea with lemon, beef, chicken and lamb kebabs, plus grilled mushrooms — everything was fresh and very tasty.
The kebabs were juicy, the lagman was rich in flavor, and the samsa was perfectly baked. The food felt authentic and homemade, and the atmosphere was comfortable.
We really enjoyed the meal and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

I was quite disappointed with this place. The food was okay, but nothing special — definitely not memorable. The portions were small.
Several items from the menu weren’t available, including the potatoes with mushrooms and the fruit platter.
Another strange detail was that there were no knives on the table — only forks and spoons — even though they serve meat dishes like kebabs.
Overall, the quality and presentation of the food felt more like something you’d get at a small roadside café. It doesn’t really live up to calling itself a restaurant.
The only positive part of the experience was the server, who was nice. Unfortunately, that was the only highlight.

The ambience is great and the service was fast. The grilled chicken kabobs was the best. Then the Samarkand polav. I wanted to try the corniche chicken but they said it would take 55 minutes! The waiter who welcomed us had trouble understanding English and this would be the only negative point that I can add. Food is tasty. Portions are small in my opinion.

Unfortunately this is not the first time it’s happening. Full fat and and no meat almost, literally 10-15 grams of meat and 100 grams of fat. definitely unpleasant to see let along eat! Already informed them on the phone for it and they didn’t do anything about it.

The food was not fresh at all. We tried several dishes and were very disappointed. The Caesar salad had moldy cheese, and the chicken nuggets were raw and undercooked. This is unacceptable and unsafe. On top of that, they added hidden fees at checkout that were not clearly explained on the receipt. Very poor quality and service. I would not recommend this place.

I recently visited the restaurant Samarkand. My friends and I came for lunch, ate, and we ordered plov and kazan kebab. And samsa. The samsa was amazing. You definitely have to come back for the samsa. We also tried the kazan kebab. Unfortunately, the potatoes in the kazan kebab were not well seasoned. But the potatoes were still good. The meat was great. Then we also got plov. The taste of the plov wasn’t very good. The oil they used might have been old, or the plov just wasn’t fresh. We didn’t send the plov back, but we hardly ate it. We also ordered manty. However, we had to wait a long time for the manty. We also asked our waiter to add boiling water to our tea. The staff tried their best, but they need to be faster, more attentive, and more caring towards the guests. We had to call our waiter again and again many times, which caused some discomfort. I would say that the food here is delicious. The prices are very reasonable, and I like the prices. I enjoyed the taste of the food, but the service could still be improved. I will definitely come back, if only for the samsa, which I really loved.

The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients that truly transported me to another world. But what really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Suraya. She was so warm and welcoming, making sure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Her recommendations were spot on and she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I can’t wait to come back and dine at this restaurant again, thanks to Suraya’s impeccable service. 5 stars all around!

To make matters worse, many items listed on the menu are frequently unavailable. It feels like there’s a complete lack of organization among the kitchen staff and chefs. On top of that, they still don’t offer any delivery service, which is very inconvenient in this day and age.
With the food quality dropping and the service being so chaotic, it’s hard to recommend this place anymore. Very disappointing.

Good Central Asian restaurant. I have been to Samarkand and can attest that the food tastes very authentic. We have tried many dishes – salads, appetizers, soup, plov and none disappointed.
Music was too loud at times, but other than that a very nice experience. Highly recommended
